One of my absolute favorite franchises, I still play Call of Pripyat with the Misery mod.
This game almost came out in 2002.
Dude, thanks for reminding me how great this game is – I'll have to bring back the habit of playing it every once in a while, although I've played it through and through. And thanks for your reviews in general! As for this one's difficulty… I wonder why you were wearing the Blood Stone (bleeding penalty) artifact all the time and complained about getting instakilled – I mean, what else would you expect? XD And the AI thing the other commenters had pointed out – yes, the AI won't put the NPCs in danger, they better wait and have you lose your patience: remember, you can reload, they can't. And again – I don't remember the loading times being as bad as you've described them. Anyways, I can definitely tell you had enjoyed the game, which is no surprising 😉 Thanks again and keep up!

Stalker is one of the worst game series I've ever played in my life
In-game PDA: set to 2012. The reviewer: "the game is taking place after the Chernobyl disaster of 1986".
Will take my comment elsewhere. Reading by the comments, the author of this channel’s a fucking dickhead.
I like the game a lot, but i cant play it becouse it keeps random crashing to desktop. Also, the "respawn" rate of enemies and monsters its unbalanced for me.
Amazing review ….8 minutes felt like a minute…That is when u know the video is good. But why did u change from gggmanlives to gmanlives…?? as i used to refer to u starting with ggg -man which i cant do now 🙁
your gameplay shows you just play like a cod boy looking for action and showing no caution at all. you just played the game wrong way and made a review based on that.
just admit you suck at stalker that's all.
I was so looking forward to enjoying this game… I started the game on Master and was enjoying it, but then I reached the first big factory and saw seven or eight guards stuck because they were trying to get to me through the same door at once and I just quit.
Couldn't agree more. Loved the game despite it's faults but they do exist, and there are a lot. Mods are good but you shouldn't have to mod a game to make it playable (looking at you Fallout 3). One of those games people either like or don't, seems like not a lot of middle ground. Replaying it with graphics mods right now and really enjoying it, but I remember hating all the glitches and that shit when it came out.
this game ai was way ahead of its time
The constant feeling of threat is definitely a part of its atmosphere. And I honestly believe that mods can fix most of its shortcomings. First time I played it I had to use a mod to have shops repair my weapons. That's definitely a fair addition and doesn't hurt the atmosphere or take away from the realism.
Stalker is the only game I ever returned for a refund. I got it close to launch, same collector's edition as you, and it was a hell of a buggy game on launch. In my case, it was made unplayable by a skybox that didn't render, so the trees and buildings all trailed all over the screen, not being erased each frame. I never did go back and play it.
i agree with everything else but i dont agree with the long loading times, i played it on windows 10 and the loading screens took at most 10 seconds.
Oh one more thing, sometimes when you kill a zombie it falls down and just makes very creepy noises while wiggling around.
All stalker games are on steam sale right now but i don't know which one to buy first, and which one is the best of them all so what game of the franchise would you reccomend?
I like games but I'm hardly a gamer, but this stalker I actually do play. Awsome to hear my thoughts, likes and dislikes about it!
