That's really nice
Wow I'm actually shocked I was designing an device that would allow people with limited and or no use of an single arm to still enjoy video game to the point of where they could still play competitively, I'm actually surprised Sony went there before me lol but still this is awesome
What computer are you using?
puriton Christan and neo Nazis can be the same thing look at trump
Holy shit proto that's real cool for the sony employee to do that for the college kid !^_^xongrats to that guy for doing a. good ass thing for that guy
New intro is horrible. Just use your old one it was fine.
Some people have slower reaction times, some cannot see colours, some people have less finger or even lack a hand! Also I even know a girl who vomit every time she plays a game with a male protagonist… =(
There have been a few accessories made for handicapped people in the past. Like the Nintendo Hands Free controller which was made to let players who were paralyzed play using there mouth. Also there was a one handed Super Nintendo controller that was originally made for visual novals, but found a use in players who had a arm lost or damaged. So there have been some attempt by games console makers to help handicapped players, but its been few and far between items. I do feel a little more effort needs to be put in to help, even if it is for the selfish reason of making a company look good and to say "oh of course we care. we want all people to buy and play our products."
I also have cerebral palsy, though milder. As a teenager with this disability, on crutches, seeing this gives me hope for my future.
My brother has cerebral palsy, he can not use his left arm and he travels working the pipeline, which I don't thank I can do, and I have use of both of my arms
🙁 Unfortunately it is not equal. I have a disability that makes it difficult to navigate 3D environments. But I am very skilled at 2D games like Fire Emblem even on luntatic mode. But people don't recognize that as a difficult game. Least not people in the core gamer community don't. They recognize Dark Souls but that is a 3D game. And I just can't play games like that for that reason. I can't even play Zelda games for that reason. I also have poor memory. So anything that requires me to remember quests or move sets are very difficult. So a fighting game with combos, difficult. A game where you have to do very specific fetch quests and remember across long distances where people are, difficult. So no… if you have a disability and you play a game and you have a disability that would impede something related to that game, it will affect your gameplay no doubt.
I wish so bad to play shooters with my husband but even figuring out how to shoot is hard. There is this game smite on PS4 and I just go in circles… and I mess up the buttons all the time. But like I said. I can play tactics games on the harder difficulties no issues because my impairments don't affect those skills.
This is such a cool story. I am happy for the man
Proto, did you hear a while back about what happened with this guy who only had one hand? He wanted to play games with his kid, but he couldn't because controllers are designed for two hands. Then he tried an XBox One Elite controller, and was able to play the game with one hand. It's so nice to know that people who normally wouldn't be able to game are now able to do so! 😀
that is a great story to hear. it makes the human race seems good again. glad someone took their time and helped a Handicapped person.

As someone with Cerebral palsy I find this awesome I mean I'm legally blind as well and I play videos fine but this makes me happy
Why does this even have dislikes? What a shame…
Thats nice of them to make him a custom controller for him.
They should do this for all console.
I imagine one day you'll be able to control the game characters with your eye or your mind. –> That would be even more amazing.

Proto you are like Jwittz where you were pokemon now gaming news.
I have a friend with cerebral palsy, his twin sister is wheelchair bound and can barely speak, my friend can barely bend his legs and needs crutches, yet he still tries to do things like Boy Scouts, Mixed Martial Arts.
Microsoft would of charged him
I'm digging the need. I need some variety in my life.
this is perfectly fine.
it made me smile.
I know it's off topic, but I would like to know your opinions on: Would it be good or bad for Pokémon co., if they would stop releasing a new Poké-game for few years(of course tell before hand that this is not the end) after S&M? like a sabbath 🙂 And of course come up with a new game after few to four years 😀 Just a thought… Sorry for my bad english 😉
Probably from Ben Heck
