Psnow +psn+internet = to much money spent on my ps4
I think the price tag is ok, maybe a touch much with all the subscription services ppl are signed up to, but consideringvthe cost they had of individual games this is pretty much on point, it would be nice to say see a year subscription appear for say $120-$150 an if that translates similarly to Europe then I'm ok with it, or even if they say existing PS+ members get a decent discount then it would encourage ppl to sign up.
O Marta, comments below, lol good one, very funny!
How much do you want to pay for over 100 games unlimited access? 10 dollars a month. 45 every three months is more than fair. you can finish at least 15-20 games in that time that you'd pay what. 250-300 bucks for normally?
No thanks total ripoff would be cheaper getting a ps3 and buying the dames dirt cheap and you get to keep them for life this service will fail on so many levels
might be worth just getting a 3 month trail, if i didnt have tons of modded systems this might be very tempting to get lol
SO WEN WE IN THE EU GETING IT?? KEEP SAYING EU GET SHIT
price seems fair, if you think $200 a year…thats the price of just over 3 new games, considering you get over 100 games to play at anytime you want seems pretty decent to me 🙂
IMO i see there having to charge that much because games cost 3 times as much as a movie so the price is fair only being double the cost of say netflix or hulu. The price is sorta fair in that aspect. Far as the consumer aspect 15 bucks would be better per month. So what im saying is i do agree with how they priced the service and i would like a consumer to see the price at 15 dollars per month
Fuck that, should be free with PS plus.
Its actually $15/month if u get the 3 month subscription 4x. Compared to gamefly one game/month for $16 its a great deal. Plus it'll probably go down since everybody complaining
Data caps on internet connections will also render this service not really usable for quite a few people. Ah well it's Canada and US only for now so we'll be able to see how things are going or not going in that market.
Access to the complete range of Playstation games would provide enough value for that price but a selected 100 titles just isn't enough in my opinion. Besides, steamed games will introduce the inevitable lag and only the happy few ones with super low latency on a T1 connection will be able to really use it. The Internet infrastructure just isn't ready for it.
Is PS now games 1080p?
Ina perfect world this subscription would be included with plus. Since it's not I think it should be just $10 more a year if you're already a plus subscriber and $30 a year if you're not.
If they would have made it $10 for one month, $25 for 3 months, and $45 for 6 months that would have been a whole lot more fair for everyone who is already buying in on PS+ and trying to buy new games as well… Idk what Sony was thinking but this is a step in the wrong direction…
yeah seems a little pricey, especially since you don't keep the games if you were to cancel or your subscription runs out… PS3 games can be bought cheap enough online and you actually get to own the physical copy… but for some people this Playstation Now might be worth it.
