Hi i followed the steps but when i launch the psvimgtool it is looking for an account? i am unsure of what to do
bit late, I just want to be able to play some ps2 trilogies on the pstv (I've been using emulators on my pc but the pstv is so small it would be convinient to be able to take it with me anywhere) I'm running on 3.63 and also own a vita, do I plug my vita into my pc or is there some way for me to do it on the pstv?
Sh#t it doesn't work on v 3.68 don't do this now it's back to factory settings…. Sh#t how…. Plz help restore backup didn't work
hey some games still won't run help
Now that HENkaku works on 3.68, have you had any luck installing DSMotion and FakeCamera? These are intended to compliment the Whitelist hack mapping motion controls to the DualShock and tricking games into thinking the camera is connected. I've tried installing these plugins, but I can't seem to get them to work. I'm yet to figure out why.
Did not work on 3.68 pstv running H-encore and terreria
Works perfectly for fw 3.68
Thank you sir!
when i try back up to the pstv to the computer it wont pass 1800mb some error keeps pooping up
Does this also work for the Latest 3.68 version?
i recently updated to 6.68 the latest would it still be able to work (noted i havent done anything to it such as hacking )
Is this burning at 3.68?
Is this whitelist a database patch or does it make every game even new ones like Ys8 work?
I got to the point of hitting the patch whitelist button but I keep getting a message that says: operational error: unable to open database file. I'm using 3.68
I tried this on a white ps vita tv running FW 3.68 and it worked.
Took me a while but I can confirm it works on 3.68. However, do the backup and restore steps without your memory card inserted, then insert it when you're done restoring and you should be good to go.
PSVimgTools didn't see my backup files. I can see my account name, but there is nothing in next menu. What i do wrong?
is it possible to get the usb mass stoage part to work on a psTV with 3.67 firmware with psvimgtools as well?
Absolute Legend, did this today on 3:68 and worked perfectly, just to add I started to back up as you said but I have a 64 memory card with 49g used and it looked like it was gonna take a day to back up so I took the memory card out of the pstv and then backed it up which took about 10 seconds then followed your steps, then put my memory card in and it still works and the whole process only took about 3 mins. Mate you have given me endless classic ps games to play on the big screen ππΌππͺπ½ also just to add Iβm not that great when it comes to things like this and the work hack does frighten me so to anyone thinking it looks to hard to do, really trust me itβs not and with skullators great easy to follow steps it worked like a dream. Legend thanks π
Quick question for you, not sure if you can help:
Every time I get to the point where I attempt to restore the modified backup, I get a popup that the backup file couldn't be restored, with the error code C2-12858-4. I'm on OFW 3.68, no Henkaku, nothing special, just a regular PSTV essentially right off the shelf and updated. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? (Obviously, I'm following this step by step!)
Ok so once this is done does downloading a new game work? or does it have to be applied to games already installed during the backup? like if i download sly cooper now that the hack is complete… will it work or will i need to do it again? also does this work with 3.68? I see you say it in the title but never actually mention it in the video.
So QCMA is asking me to register a ps vita system… so how do i do that? Do i need a USB male to male cable or something?

QCMA won't work at all or the PSVimg won't work with it. I need to use PSVimg with the official CMA. Could you do a tutorial using that? There is a step by step here. http://hackinformer.com/PlayStationGuide/PSV/tutorials/how_to_install_the_pstv_whitelist_patch_v2.html. I have no idea what to do after step 5. Thanks!
