Even in 2018 this helps like crazy
Either 10 year old kids, Indians or people on crack speaking 10x normal speed… How to learn?
Your explanations are superb. You're actually interesting to listen to. Thinking I need to scale back my game production to 2d and crank out a few titles.
I got a 3D model ship, that I want to use. Can I put it in Unity for use?
bravo tes le meuilleure
your link don't work.
Hey Quill, Do You Give Me Permission To Put Your Game On The App Store? Il Remake It!
hi would this still work on the new versions of unity
Very informative!
Great Tutorial, very informative. Keep it up.
is there an alternative for the website that you have given? because it is not working for me
"Oh, I just noticed something," bla, bla – you are all over the place your tutorial is v difficult to follow
I'm v new to unity, but couldn't you create the sprites beforehand in say paint with transparent selection
Great tutorial so far no problems
quill if your finding making art a problem i highly reccemend inkscape its very easy to learn and if your a programmers helps alot
everyone is not rich like you you know. I'm from bangladesh and 75 dollar is alot here. please do your tutorials on unity 5 personnal.
I get stuck with this issue, which is mentioned in these videos and I cant find the answer anywhere. How do you get around this issue of scaling, different devices have a different screen resolution so its making the games screen size smaller (I think that makes sense). So the issue I am having is that when the game is played on different devices with a different resolution it messes every thing up, all the sprites and gui is all not where its meant to be. how do I fix that?I hope someone can help, and I hope you can understand the problem! Thanks
it wont let me drag the png in… help?
"it's gonna be 4, maybe 5 parts"… finally it got 6 parts 😛
STUCK!! NEED HELP!!
I followed the videos up to the end of #5 where I encountered a problem with the enemy AI. I'm able to get the enemies to face me wherever I move but when I added the PlayerMovement script to them they only move (along with my player) when I hit the up and down arrows. They do not move on their own and chase me. As soon as I let go of the keys both my player and my enemies stop moving. I literally copied and pasted the PlayerMovement and FacePlayer scripts into mine and it still doesn't work right. I have my enemies and my player on separate layers and my PlayerShip tagged as "player."
Is this tutorial in C#?
Heym im working on a space shooter game , it should be a multiplayer game, but i have no idea how to do "destroying other stuff and put that on ur space ship" any idea for building ur own ship? (ingame)
Is anyone else having problems with the sprite sheet in this? For some reason I cannot select any sprite options or seem to edit the sprite sheet in any way. Even If i open it in photoshop, i'm unable to change layers or do anything like that. Can't really go much further with this tutorial with this problem 🙁
Excellent video!
Thanks for nice videos!! It helpful for me!
Nice tutorial, but can I suggest that you get to the point a little quicker and stop with all the tangents when putting your code together? It's a bit like asking someone for directions and they say "You see that road over there? Well, you could go that way, and I've drawn you this cool map to show you, and (proceeds to talk at length about the route)… But if you want to get there faster, you just cut through the village over there". At which point the guy that asked is left wondering why you didn't just tell him to go through the village in the first place.
Aside from that it's a good tutorial.
I found a book that teaches you how to program aliend invaders….for comodore 64 and spectrum. I´m too young to understand it, but if anyone wants to see the coding and try to learn from it, here´s the name/author and etc(its in portuguese but i think you can find it in english):Writon by: Marcus Milton year 1900 Escreva o seu próprio programa (write your own program) Animações com Gráficos (animations with graphics/graphical animation) Invasores Alienígenas (Alien Invaders) Editor: Edições ASA
now thats a horrible sprite sheet.
Very informative and entertaining tutorial! Keep up the good work.
Such love for your videos, a very useful interesting and fun tutorial 🙂
Hello quill18, love your videos. How do i use the project files in unity? Please.
Hay quill it would be awesome of you make a short series on how to make a 2d platformer game. I am most interested in this type of game but have got no clue on how to make one in unity
Good video man you gave a lot of information in a small amount of time. Very nice.
Good Tutorial!!!
You have my approval here! I can now do Sprites fairly easily, I can pick and choose and turn and everything! Considering I downloaded this an hour ago I call that an achievement of some degree.
Great tutorial. Tack!
how do you frag the sprite sheet into unity?? i need help
You should advertise this channel on your main channel more often.
I am trying to make a game and would like Unity pro is there any way to get it cheaper and still legally?
Thanks again Quill – you have an absolutely fantastic body of work on youtube you present information enthusiastically and accurately, I have great respect for your videos. People like you show that tutorials are an artform!
I've been struggling to get enough experience to be able to start making something, and your tutorials have really helped me go from years of vague understanding to click, click, click.
I rewatched the first 3 tutorials of your multiplayer fps probably 4 times each and it took me from having no idea how to navigate blender to being able to create basic objects without looking any keys up. Now I am much less confused by Unity as well!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! People like you bring my dreams closer and closer to my grasp!
Love those tutorials they are so great . Too bad I didn't know some things from this tutorial before I got into last ludum dare. Would have been so much more convenient .

I'd love for you to do a tutorial on how to make a game like this… https://www.facebook.com/touchdownherogame
Hi,
I followed some of your tutorials and I think they are really great.
Based on the Tutorial-series Space-Shooter i created my first game in Unity:
