PS NOW is theft. I just got one month subscription and its shit.
I'm playing Red Dead Redemption and the quality is like a 144p @ 5FPS and I have a 150mbits internet connected with wire.
It works pretty well on PC with a wired controller and ethernet connection for me. Since my internet speed is 150 down, I notice very little input lag with the controller. The only downside is that PS Now is quite unstable over wi-fi, especially with the dips in performance, frame-rate stutters, and sound-distortion.
Is it better than GeForce now? Not by a long-shot! However, it's decent to play a few Playstation exclusives.
They should let you download the games on your console like xbox does with their gamepass as well as ea access!
It's a lot better than it was a year ago when I first tried it.
Been playing DMC, saints row, azuras wrath etc and it's been pretty enjoyable
I played Bioshock Infinite and Killzone Shadow Fall and both ran like absolute dogshit. The lag was unbearable and the graphics looked like crap. I don't believe anything this guy is saying. I'm also getting 350mb download so its not my internet
In my experience with ps now.. I’d press a button and that action would happen in about 4 seconds
Only game worth playing is rdr and even with 200mb is still lags like hell and the graphics are not 720p
I haven't tried this service yet, but I did try Geforce now on my Shield TV, and that worked fine on my crappy vdsl 60/12Mbit broadband, haven't tried it lately on my fiber optics broadband 500/100Mbit, but shouldn't work any worse there. So what I think you should look into is your ISP, what kind of connection have you got, latency's, how is that ISP's routing around the world, what about your router, wifi etc, just so many factors who come into play. But the maybe you are right, the Sony Service might be crap, but certainly not all services out there.
both ps plus and ps now is bullshit any ways, the only feature in ps plus that is a must have is multiplayer rest is garbage and not needed for most gamer. ur internet is already paid why do u have to double pay again, its fucking bullshit.
Not worth the cost, I have 35mb internet speeds and games such as RDR quality is greatly lowered and unplayable due to FPS and looks like it is in 240p quality
i haven't had much issues with it i do have a decent internet connection but it does hog and hoard your internet whiles i was playing on it the other day my gf was having issues accessing netflix downstairs but everything was working good for me so give people a bit of a heads up when you go on it they wont be watching anything in hd.
If it had more ps4 games it would be worth it. I do plan to use it for re4 and ICO and ps4 games. For only 1 month though. Any more than that wouldn't be worth it
I tried PS Now and I like some of the games there but I keep loosing connection. Probably would have to upgrade my internet.
I wish they had this service outside of the U.S. I would get PSN in a heartbeat. I am new to the Playstation family and this would be a cheap way to play games. Anyone out there try this outside of the U.S.? I am curious if it will work or not.
Can you test it again? I have used it for over a week‚ and it's working amazingly‚ and for me it seems that there is almost never a frame delay for me

i have ps now kool service and feature but i have to use my pc to play it. my ps4 cant handle it via wireless. but at leat i can enjoy the games
Just trying it out now for the first time and playing The Last of Us. There's so much input lag, the game is unplayable. My internet is no slouch either at 300mb/s

Many people cry about psn gaming saying theyre poor visually. Im no expert simply a newbie and im well impressed. Ive noticed no latency and without a side by side comparison of the same game on an actual console the picture quality is excellent..
Be careful if you get the free trial I got it over a year ago to play for like 7 days and in the small print of the agreement it says that you will pay after the trail is over and me not knowing this I have payed over £125. They are thieves fucking pigs, try it at your own risk the games also didn't work due to my internet not being good enough although I've heard people with good internet say it didn't work
I'll probably get it for a few months and see how it works plus my son likes playing different games and the lego games so it's ok for me the price is kinda high maybe like 12.99 a month would've been good but 20? Sony is doing too much
The input lag on shooters with it was unbearable for me. Streaming games is a terrible idea.
I get over 100 mb n i still can't use it when my girl uses Netflix at the same time n I'm plugged in way too expensive and unreliable

Playstation 4 games on playstation now is kinda weird, by that I mean in a good way. I feel less lag on playstation 4 games on playstation now then I do playstation 3 games. The only thing that I can think of is that they have more playstation 4 servers then they do playstation 3. Still lag though but this time more reasonable (as long as you are wired, wireless connections handle playstation now terribly).
Sony should show microsoft how its done with full backwards compatibility ps1 2 and 3

One think that i dont like is they want people buy expensive ps controller for play with it,why i need to buy that when i can play with pc controller and top of that there is many way to do button mappings… it's a shame.

It would be worth it if theyd atleast let you download the games onto your system, atleast for the time that you pay for your subscription. The way it works now the connection is laggy and sometimes unplayable. I have a internetconnection of 100mbps also.
The other thing that bugs me is the price, for 20 bucks a month on a year basis u can buy a ps3 with all the games u ever want. And still id be prepared to pay 20 if theyd atleast let me download the games onto my ps, so i can play in peace without the connection getting screwed up every half hour.
As im new to PS after gaming on Ninty consoles through childhood and Xbox consoles up until xmas when i traded my XB1 towards a PS4 after seeing the great looking exclusive games on PS, i decided to try PS Now as all exclusive games would be new to me having never owned a PS3 and i was very impressed tbh! I had the trial then bought it for 2 months (my sub ended but i will start it up again when i can) i played The Sly Trilogy (1&2 i finished) God of War, Journey, Oddworld Strangers Wrath, Ico and Everybodys Golf and all played beautifully! Within 30/40 secs ur playing and i forgot i was streaming im impressed! I have 33-36mb download speeds on fibre so that helps im sure, not sure how it would work for adsl b,band for e.g 7-8mb like i had before upgrading to fibre?…
How fast is game loading? Resume ability?
Just curious… It's fast cause there's no one using the service not? And it might lag a lot more if you steam 2080p / 4k instead of 720p…

I beat the first 3 Uncharted games on it. They can be tough at times and every once in a while a frame stutter would get me killed–but overall it worked fine. I also beat Heavy Rain, Journey, and my kids played tons of Barbie and Monster High. The service is good–but very expensive. If you can drop the $90 for a year, then I recommend it.

Until everyone has a very low latency high bandwidth fiber connection this kind of shit will never take off. Sorry but as a gamer I want low latency like I'm playing locally. an extra 4 frames of lag isn't good enough. and the video quality needs to at least look like YouTube at 4K.
