2. true but i find the best solution after cleaning is keeping it cool with a high velocity fan a small sized fan i used a 14 inch and it sits 4 inches from the PS4 also its always below 70 degrees in my house. also if you drill a hole where the fan is located the same diameter as the fan on the top of the shell while its pulled apart cause if cooler air can get to the CPU-GPU faster it gets the heat off those parts that keep it running its also good to do a fan mod all these are great only if warranty is up. i have a ps4 & ps3 thats modded this way and the ps3 its almost 12 years old.

11. WORST IDEA EVER! DO NOT BUY!!! Once your warranty is up, open the system and clean it out correctly! I have a launch PS4 that is as silent as the day I first turned it on. All this product will do is clog up its own fans and restricting air flow even more and DESTROY your console. It's a air cooled system and like all air cooled PC's and Console's, it must be cleaned every few months. Monkey Flop I guarantee you that if you that your heat sink and fan are really clogged. Do it right and save money.
