I’ve spent more than a month with the Playstation Now closed beta on PS3 and PS4. Let’s talk about it!

  1. Xbox's new game pass sounds so much better, for the downloading instead of streaming. if Now changed to downloads, I'd get it. I have gotten a month of it before, but hated the streaming

  2. i wish they made it like a monthly subscription where you pay a certain amount of money ($10-15 per month for example) and then you could just stream whatever games they have to offer at no charge, however i understand why they didn't do it that way lol

  3. Yeah…the only reason I might use this is if it opened up the doors to older games you can no longer play on the systems but I'd much rather buy a game and play it forever than buy it close to that price and play it for a limited amount of time.

  4. I always thought that the main reason to get PSnow was so you could play games with graphics that your console cannot generate.
Obviousley Sony won't do that since the PS4 is still fresh out of the birth canal, and this thing is clearly far from ready.

As for the pricing, i think that's going to be a real issue.
They can't even discount digitally purchasable games appropriately, why should that change with streaming.

  5. I'm not going to check it out. I'm the kind of person who buys a game and sticks it on a shelf, after beating it, for future playthroughs. Most ps2 and ps1 games you can buy between 4-10 bucks and own it forever. Just not for me.

  6. I think it is cool, but it depends on how much it cost to rent a game. Jake agree on what u said that it like $4.99 and the game goes on sell for $7 I can on it forever and what happens if I don't bet it in two day ,I just wasted my money.

  7. I got accepted into the beta and have had mixed feelings. I have a good WiFi connection so it played well, but thegame selection & prices need major improvement. I'll give it a try once it releases in its completed form. Great video Jake!
