Imo it's super odd to review two completely different versions of a game in the same video, and just jumping between gameplay footage all the time. It's not a PC port, it's a completely different version.
This game was a hell of a lot of fun on PS2, campaign was hard as balls at times though. Enjoyed playing with my brother on the multiplayer.
Still have Everything or Nothing fort Xbox, and I enjoyed it. I have not played this one though, but after watching the review probably will never do so.
Personally i really like nightfire and still play it every now and then on old xbox
Multiplayer was the best thing about this game.
Bad review. Didn't even talk about the multiplayer on PS2. The best multiplayer game on PS2 easy.
I miss the old Bond games! I owned Goldeneye 64, Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, and Everything or Nothing, the latter being my personal favorite. What a good childhood.
PC MASTER RACE
forget this game. play Mission impossible on the N64
GBA Version gets no love … and that's just really sad
This was my shit in 5th grade.
I absolutely love this game. I have only ever played the first 5 missions though. What I love about this game is the multiplayer. I had a lot of fun playing with my dad and brother.
This was the very first FPS game I ever played on the PS2. So many hours spent in it, and a lot of good memories. I went back and played it again recently. It's lost it's charm, but I'll still remember it fondly.
007 Nightfire for ps2 has to be my favourite james bond game ever hands down
i played the shit out of this game on the gamecube as a kid. one of my favorites
I think controllers can be better or equal to mouse and keyboard, especially with gyro controls. I'm in master on overwatch PC and play with an Xbox 360 controller plugged in via usb.
One thing about the stealth sections (at least on GameCube, but should work on PS2 as well), you can punch the guards and they'll NEVER get back up again. Best part! You won't fail the mission.
CONS & PROS:
PC Version: Shitty Campaign Better Mutiplayer with a small but fun online playerbase
Console Version: Better Campaign 4 player couch multiplayer No Online multiplayer
u didnt say anything about the multiplayer on pc which was the best thing ever…
thats fucking pathetic when the console version is better than the pc version
I never had a problem with the auto aim. Maybe it was better on the GameCube version?
The muiltiplayer was fun as hell
Why aren't there any James Bond games on Steam? Also is there any possibility of Steam getting old console exclusives from like 10 years ago?
"all you need is a console" yes, all you needed for the pc was a pc from that time aswell. that is just an empty argument. good luck playing that game at all on a newer playstation. it runs on a newer PC, even when its not flawless, they couldn't make it compatible with something not released yet.
Honestly, I only know about Nightfire and AOF because of PS2 softmodding…
Hi gggman, I noticed you neglected to mention From Russia with Love in the list of sixth generation bond games, please could you review it along with Everything or Nothing? Many thanks I enjoy your videos
Honestly though, those faces are really fucking good for 2002 on console.
You know, there is one console FPS that feels absolutely awesome and is blazing fast in spite of an apparently least suitable controller.
Outrigger, on SEGA Dreamcast. By the SEGA arcade machine division AM2. You should definitely give it a try, it's very unusual in its design decisions.
Splitscreen was awesome on this game.
shame you didn't give "Goldeneye" a full review so you could tear it a new asshole
by the way for 2002 game it works i mean 15 years ago
or was
hey the split screen is fun
is it just my nostalgia or were the graphics on GameCube much better than ps2 for this game?
I want this game remastered. It's easily one of the best Bond games just like GoldenEye.
I know Activision owns the Bond game rights, but I wish somebody like Nightdive Studios would buy the rights for this one game and port it over to modern day consoles.
Surprised you didn't punch them down like I did on the PS2 version of Night Shift.
I consider From Russia with Love to be the best 6th gen Bond game
i played this on a gba emulator
can someone just make a counter strike mod out of this bond game?
