Finally managed to get my hand on the PSX version of the Magical Drop 3 game. The video is a playthough of me beating Hard mode without continuing.

Man that initial intro scene with the ominous music and the dark castle scared me as a kid :s , looking back on it I was such a wuss haha
You used the lowest difficulty level. Before pressing start, you can make some configurations, and one of them is setting how difficult the game will be from 1 to 9, and it seems that you used a low level, because when I played the game in hard the number was in 3 or more and lost at least once, also the opponent's clown moved so much faster.
I use play this game when I was 4 on my ps1 and ps2
Does it hava an english patch?
Any tips for this game? I love it but can't figure out how to get better!
The Empress is my Magical Drop waifu :P!
Recently picked up the Japanese version that includes the arcade version of Magical Drop 1 as well, known as Magical Drop III + Wonderful (the released Magical Drop on PS1 and Saturn that is standalone changed characters, and the games charm suffered because of it, so this bundle having the original arcade release is, well, wonderful).
