I got a feeling the title of the video is a give away on the description of the video. http://www.retrogamegeeks.co.uk/ Vidme! https://vid.me/SEGA_PIT Twitter!

This was the first (and only) video I watched when I got back from holiday on Saturday. I was absolutely knackered, but watched it all right to the end before I feel asleep! lol. I really enjoyed it though and would love to see/hear more about your other games/collection. I'd never heard about Spike Out: Battle Streets, so I'm definitely going to check that out now. I'd never tried a Sega GT game either and that looked pretty good! There were so many other games I loved on this list (always good to see a fan of the Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain Series).. Can't wait to see more! 🙂
I'd would looove to play Gunvalkarie. A HD remaster along with JSRF and Orta would be ideal, and probably easy-ish considering the Xbox's PC like hardware but I think none of the games were particularly huge sellers. They are critical darlings for the most part however so maybe the way the Platinum Games PC ports have been selling on Steam will encourage them to take a punt. The games are all still very pretty so it's not like they're 'too old'.
I'm sure Sumo Digital have a lot of better paying gigs on their menu right now but I'm hoping the people working there get bored of working on these realistic racers and get back to their arcade roots. S&SASR is a truly magnificent game and if they could come up with a way to take that drift chaining mechanic to the next level or come up with something equally satisfying it'd be a crying shame not to try again.
I'd give Halo credit for being more than an FPS. It managed to incorporate vehicles and large maps while still having fast-ish gameplay. You still don't see that being convincingly done very often. It's like it sits in that sweetspot of core FPS and open world game without having all the downsides of open world games. Going purely on my memory of it here now and I never played any of the sequels.
Wow you really like Sega. That was like an epitaph to the glory days of Sega. Other classics on the system include KOTOR, Burnout, Crimson Skies, Rallisport Challenge, Mercenaries, Riddick. I suspect you're a pc gamer as a lot of the best games also appeared on pc and you didn't mention many multiplats that also appeared on pc
Cool video. Could've done without the puking guy though mate.
Now we need a game with Master Chef 😀
Just got an original Xbox a couple of years ago, and I try to get a game every time I travel somewhere. Great vid, Casey! I'm glad you showed the gameplays of the games shown. Good choices too, mate.
Kiss the Xbox! hahaha just kidding! The original Xbox was a best, great graphics, great games and a good controller.
