This is my first entry in my Short Reviews show. I’ll do these once or twice a month to bridge the gap between my longer Retro Reviews and Palette Swap shows. Animated Intro: Everchange…

Just add Tecmo Bowl and Double Dribble to that trio and you have our complete sports library for the Nintendo! Blades of Steel has to be my favourite, even named my intramural hockey team after it! Great video, my man.
Bases Loaded II is the best baseball game that I ever played, how hilarious is Blades of Steel xD
Outro is a little too long, but otherwise a great episode!
Dad and I played the hell out of Tecmo Super Bowl. <3 It's probably the only reason I understand Football. XD
The best damn sports game on the NES is Cyber Stadium Series: Base Wars. I dunno if you've played that one yet, but it's the best sports game ever created. Patrick and I went head to head in it at one point and we were laughing our asses off.

The character sprites in World Cup remind me of Retro City Rampage; made me grin. I need to get hold of a copy of Blades of Steel, as it looks like fun.
Blades of Steel rocks…..
Go Hawks :p
I didn't play many sports games on the NES (or in general), but I played a lot of NBA Jam for Genesis and NFL Xtreme for PS1 when I was younger. I'm gonna try to pick up a copy of Nintendo World Cup. I mean, Kunio Kun + Soccer? I gotta play that!
