I'm watching a lot of Jidaigeki movies right now so decided to pick this game up.
If I hear another damn review comparing a game to dark souls… it’s annoying
I don't know if I should get either AC Black Flag or Nioh for my birthday. I'm a hardcore fan of both assassin's creed and dark souls but I'm not sure. I'm getting AC Origins along with either of these so another assassin's creed game might be too much but I've already played the Freedom Cry standalone and loved it. So confused….
First of has the phrase Hack n Slash really become that taboo, oh it's a button mashers game, wtf…….no the whole genre is now know as 'souls clones' if a new onimusha came out would it be a dark souls clone? no souls is the clone just done a little better than most but with some of the games that jumped on god of wars back like dantes inferno the whole genre needed a refresh but calling all games in this genre 'dark souls clones' just shows how childish you are
Man, I'm stunned by this game, your description is perfect. "oh shit, I can't do this, i don't wanna do this." The risk of dying scary me sometimes.
Game looks awesome, i was a huge fan of Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha with their first sequels although both series fell apart in their third outings. I kinda miss those games and now that I only play on pc I have a hard time finding anything like those two. This one looks like the closest we're going to get on pc so that alone makes it really worth the price of admission.
For some odd reason I'm good at dark souls 1,2 and 3 but suck at nioh
I love this game bought it when it was brand new I haven't had a chance to play it since but now I'm playing it and I put a lot of time into it already 60 hours of gameplay I really want to get the Platinum for this game so I'm going to be playing this game a lot. I love blood-borne I platinum's that game I must Platinum this one and I got to Platinum Dark Souls 3 as well eventually and now I'm a level 91
Nioh is harder than Souls. Especially the double boss fights. Some of Niohs missions are crazy.
Is the color palette really that stale, though? White, black, yellow and red?
Got this game today, and damn I think it's amazing. Its difficult, and I can tell it's only going to get harder. I appreciate this challenge. The game is beautiful, amazing customization capabilities, awesome frame rate, and a spectacular combat system. It feels like Ninja Gaiden became Dark Soul's step daddy.
also you can go through the game co-op which is a little easier as you can use agro to your advantage.
As a souls veteran, Id say Nioh is more difficult
I'm a huge…. huuuuugge dark souls fan.. that being said. I bought this game a week ago. And I absolutely love this game… I like it more than dark souls. It's similar but there is so much more cool shit in this game. I love the different fighting stance. Switching styles and different weapons. And super guardian ability. I have put in a lot of hours and feel like I barely scratch the surface. Like level 60.. I will be playing this for the next month straight.
Been waiting on word of a Nioh PS4 complete physical edition being released outside of Japan… Are we getting a US version?
Onimusha Warlord was hard because of shit tank controls and terrible unmoving cameras.
I'm not going to lie, I've never played a Souls game and when I first played this… it wasn't bad at first, but those Yokai… the larger ones definitely had me running away (usually to the nearest shrine). And the first boss intimidated me to where I died in a few minutes. But after battling around for a few hours and getting myself familiar with the combat system and the overall environment, I really grew to like it and when I went to fight that boss again, I stepped up, used the techniques I've grown accustomed to using, and beat the boss. The danger can be worrying at times, but because of that, I guess it keeps you on edge and more cautious than other games since you actually have something to lose. But overall, definitely enjoying it so far.
overrated garbage
100/100 expansive combat that leaves souls in the dust!
Are any of the bosses named oni ?
Should I buy Nioh?
They need to improve on co up and have like in dark souls having invaders pop in
if they bring back ninja gaiden in this genre i will sell my soul for it
Its good but its not Bloodborne
I stole this from a friend's house. He found out, and made me choose between keeping the game or keeping our friendship.
Although I miss him sometimes, I regret nothing.
I won't be conditioned to like Dark Souls series, way too overhyped and unfun.
No even a weaboo and I considered purchasing this game cuz it looks very relaxing
I always made ninja/samurai builds in dark souls so when this came out i pre ordered almost instantly lol
Dude sounds like the child of Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy.
Should I buy this or dark souls 3
l like Nioh better than DS
Nioh or nier?
Onimusha one of my favorite games of all time, yet those bloodbourne games i dont like in the slightest..so what do i do wit dis
Does the entire game happen in this darkness or we see sunlight at some point.
Don't buy this game unless you like grinding.
Played bloodborne 4 times… now im going for this
I wouldn't recommend this game for anyone
Story is meh. Main character is boring as fuck without any kind of personality. All the other characters in the game are there just for the sake of being there, they barely have any backstory at all. The "difficulty" of the game is in the numbers not the mechanics. Bosses in this game force you to use cheap tactics, especially on higher difficulties. Side missions are boring, most of the time you're going through an area you've already been in only to kill 1 specific enemy or open a certain treasure chest. The "endgame" is a complete joke, nothing but 2 on 1 handicap bullshit against buffed versions of bosses you've already beaten.
Once you beat new game you've experienced everything this game has to offer, there is no reason whatsoever to go into NG+. NG+ turns the game into an endless fucking grind with slightly different enemy placement, higher level loot and absurdly overpowered enemies that pretty much one shot you
Onimusha ive been wanting it to be remade
The palate looks very VERY boring.
wow a new witcher game gerald looks awesome!!!!
Why is linearity a bad thing
Pure doghsit,i dont rcmd to anyone!!Doesnt detect correctly the GPU,controller bugs, graphic bugs!!!SUCH A SHIT omfg!!!Im so happy that i dont buy these doghsits, they are so fucken bad………SHITSHITSHITSHIT,but huge one……..Absolutly not fucken rewarding, you just go go go to suck at the next opponent, idiot game, like Ds.Thnese games are just not working esp. Nioh, same enemies, same weapons, same LEVELS whic are very disgusting, fucken piece of shit, which above that is worst port ive ever seen!!!
It doesn't COPY dark souls, it re-invigorates the formula in the way only team ninja can do.
