I want a PS4 pro slim
Ive said it before and ill say it again, Sony will put out another pro version 2.0 or slim to compete with 1x. Some will think its stupid but its a smart business move in my opnion… while Sony waits for prices to fall for the ryzen technology, they will put out a console just like 1x using the same old AMD technology lol.
PS4 pro slim with 4k blue ray player ha ha ha but I thought no body buys 4k movies stupid pony common sense is for Xbox fans
This video is the personification of the lazy games journalism and why companies and youtubers expected to create content daily are the main catalyst in why you should fact check EVERYONE!
First this video is a response to an article on a website called comicbook gaming (I didn't make that up, the link is in the description) which itself is a response to an article reported by WFFCTECH…..which in turn is a response to the interview conducted by Edge Magazine. If all that sounds like the plot to 6 degrees of separation and you are confused as hell….well I think that might have been the point of this video.
You see, in the actual interview conducted by Edge magazine…..the question was asked about whether Sony would continue to have an iterative console cycle or if they would return to a traditional 1 console per generation format. JIM RYAN responded pointing out that it's too early to tell if the pro has been a success and that it would keep the iterative model for the Future or if they would go back to a more conventional 1 console per generation. RYAN began his statement saying that he believes longer life cycles of consoles like the 13 years ps2 was supported are over (a statement I agree with), he continued on to say that it's too early to tell how iterative consoles have helped the market because pro is only a few months old and the xbox 1x is not even out yet.
At no point in the original interview does the conversation even hint that Sony would be considering more PS4 branded consoles. That lovely gem of misinformation, is a misinterpretation of the article on WFFCTECH, where the author of that article wonders if this may lead to a future where we see multiple consoles within the same generation.
The author of this response article takes that writers hypothesis about how iterative consoles will work in the future and expands it to mean that we may indeed see more ps4 models this generation…..now I don't know if any of you are old enough to remember playing the telephone game but by the time MaDz Gaming does this asinine video he is so far removed from the source material that it's fair to say everything he says in this video is a lie. It is conjecture based on conjecture.
To be fair, I don't blame him as much as I wish he took the time to research what was said in the article before he made a video about it. But that's why it's important to fact check your sources, then fact check their sources to be sure……because I have every reason to believe that some dumb fanboy will quote this video in some heated corner of the internet and someone will call him a liar and he won't understand why.

People need to cut the BS the PS5 will be out around 2019 maybe 2020 and it's logical and makes sense. It will be backwards compatible more then likely and by that time the PS4 would have been out 7 years.

If it still has that weak CPU and 8+1 GB memory, then please don't bother Sony.

It makes sense that PlayStation 5 probably be at 2019 2020 cuz what's the point I've doing Dad when you just have Playstation pro it doesn't make any sense it will make other Sony fanboys angry it's very smart not to do that right now
I'm predicting PS5 around 2021. Like you say, nothing is necessarily set in stone due to new tech though.

A PS4 PRO Slim with a 4K Blu-Ray player and a smaller more efficient APU in 2018 seems more feasible
It makes shows how Microsoft ALREADY being involved in the software and computer industry had a MUCH better idea of how to PLAN AHEAD.
Sony is used to phasing out hardware because it's how they operate with all the other hardware they make.
It's also worked for them for all these years with their consoles and the PS4 is still selling well.
I believe that they want to see how things pan out for the XBoxOneX because they may have to figure out a more effective game plan as to which direction to go.
Another new console that is NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE doesn't seem like a good idea. The sooner they release a new console that is NOT backwards compatible the WORSE of an idea it is…. especially with the current success of the PS4.

If they don't even KNOW what it's going to be they OBVIOUSLY haven't STARTED DEVELOPING IT YET.
If THAT'S the case it makes NO SENSE that it could come out 2019…even 2020 is a,stretch.
The XBoxOneX wasn't designed and put together in JUST a couple of YEARS.
That's why Microsoft is ALREADY figuring out what their NEXT machine will be and so it WON'T be releasing ANY TIME SOON.
It's obvious these companies are working on some R&D for the future of their hardware updates!
What makes sense and also what I believe Microsoft is going to do is whenever ONE X's succeser releases the ONE X will become the base platform for new games. Maintaining full backward compatibility to Xbox one, and ONE X ,while ONE X's succeser will be the premium, and so on for generations. This would give both a 4 year and 8 year life cycle to consoles. Benefits being, always plenty of games at consoles launch, premium option every 4 years, relief knowing my console would be getting AAA games for at least 8 years from launch. With future backward compatibility all the way to xbox one and what they are doing now for the 360 and OG xbox we could have a future where "complete" backward compatibility is normal for xbox users. I think this could be the perfect balance of platform support,consistency and premium choice. I don't have a pc to make videos but i am really curious to hear what you or anybody else thinks about this. Whether you believe that it's their plan or just a good
Basically what that sounds like to me is Microsoft have out moved Sony in many ways. As most of us know these two corporations are at the opposite ends of the financial scale, with this in mind Microsoft can afford to be extremely consumer friendly and with this approach Sony are in a corner. Usually Sony wouldn't care but in order to counter Microsoft they need a new gen console to come out but are fully aware that it costs loads of money up front to do this, but as we have seen this gen Sony are in a good position due to the brain washing of their consumers. Sony would lose millions and millions of revenue from their besotted fans if they was to give their consumers what Microsoft are giving theirs and this is worrying them! Clearly shown in this article! They need to keep milking!!
