Why is Seth Rogen using a british accent?
Never play the sequel it was terrible this one though Bloody masterpiece!
Wow that intro! Others dev should take notes. If you wanna hammer us with a bunch of credits at the start. Make it worth it, truly nice intro. I remember back in the days when games had intros you didn't wanted to skip. To this date Parasite Eve intro theme is still one of my favorites. This reminded me that. Also ""you're okay in my book" lol Coffee bribery. 10 mins in, man I'm loving this main character. Game looking good and love the commentary.
I have this for the original Xbox, I finished it but it took me ages, very difficult puzzles, great game though agent Mcphersons Canadian accent used to irritate me 🐤
I heard a lot about this game, but apparently my laptop just don't like it – I can't run it no matter what I do. So I played Still Life 2 – and gosh was it horrible, the worst game I've ever played and I liked the Guise of the wolf! I also played the prequel – Post Mortem, it wasn't so bad, but a bit boring imo, story was meh, playable, but wouldn't recommend it. Lets finally see that Still life is! Edit: I've re-done Post Mortem and now I think I was too harsh on it. It has atmosphere and aside from couple of annoying pixelhunt puzzles it pretty nice. Story still not much tho, but secret societes aren't really my thing. I would've recommend it now, I suppose. First time I've done with russian voiceover and a lot of negative feelings as I now see can be put to that. It wasn't a good voiceover.
this game is great !
I loved this game but I couldn't get past making the ducking gingerbread cookies
"Ok Captain Janeway" XD Spilled my coffee over that one…
I'm only watching cause of your awesome commentary =D
This series is one of my favorites.
The cheesy dialogue, the prerendered environments, the item inspections and game menus… this game is screaming old Resident Evil series and I love it!
Ever consider playing Fran Bow? It's a cute horror game. Hope you give it a try
CJ I would love it if you tried out the reincarnation games! You can find them on Kongregate
I was very surprised and delighted to find out that one of my subscriptions started an LP for Still Life. Great video and the game will keep you fairly interested!
EDIT: other point and clickers I know of if you are willing to check out: The Moment of Silence, The Longest Journey (the best point and clicker EVER to exist!), Overclocked, The Art of Murder series, The Secret Files series, The Dark Eye duology… there is a lot of point and clickers out there that will keep you interested and satisfied.
have you played scratches?
Wow I game I have played!! Looking forward to part 2. I usually watch you play games I want to play, but am too chicken shit to play myself lol
Wow, this a blast from the past! Honestly, I always thought this was one of the best point and click classic games since I've always been a fan of horror and crime narratives! I'm quite sure you'll enjoy it 🙂 Besides, the artistic element is always appreciated. Looking forward to Part 2!
Oh man nostalgia, thank you for making a lets play of this game. I actually stopped playing this game because the puzzles kicked my ass, lol stopped at the part of where i need to make cookies , or something.
cju, this game is amazing (I played this game and that's how I learned about syberia), would love to see you play and give your opinion.
Only thing is, don't play the second game. I waited for it for years and they didn't do a very good job.
Enjoy this gem.
part 2 please sir
i forgot to add please with a part 2 byee
i really enjoy watching you play games i love your voice, accent, and your take on games in general ive just recently became a subscriber my first playthrough series i watched of yours was inner voices. keep it up. x's&o's
"What the fuck!?"
You definitely want to play "Post Mortem" before playing "Still Life", it's some kind of prequel. It's not imperative to play it before, but it helps to understand better the story.
I take it Syberia 3 wasn't that good? I couldn't make it through his playthrough myself, because the game just bored the hell out of me (too preachy and the Yukols weren't interesting enough to be the main focus of the game for me). But this game is like the old Syberia(s), so count me in. Looks promising.
FYI, check out Post Mortem as well, if you are interested in more info on the past events which are shown in this game.
This game looks amazing, please more!
This is a beautiful looking game. I just love her witty humor. Definitely like to see more of this game. Also looking forward to the rest of Get Even. Cju thanks for the playthrough. Really cool game. Cheers
