   a game would be limited to about 5-6 million with textures, effects, and game logic…

   (DIVIDE THAT POLY NUMBER BY 30 OR 60 TO SEE HOW LITTLE IT IS PER FRAME)

3. Honestly the PS2 was the worst console of its generation, and that’s coming from a PlayStation fanboy. It’s inferior hardware meant that games just could not operate correctly, having slow load times and laggy gameplay (the most well known example being “Sonic Heroes”). I would recommend an OG Xbox (as well as a GameCube for the Nintendo classics) as it had much better performance and graphics (as well as a better-looking design, in my opinion).
   The Xbox also had better exclusives with Halo 1/2, Forza Motorsport and a lot more (whereas PS2 the only notable exclusives were the Ratchet and Clank series). And it pains me to say this as I’m usually a PlayStation fanboy who hates most Xbox consoles but Sony really messed up with the PS2 and the early launch with DVD playback pretty much secured a lot of undeserved sales for Sony.
   Not only that, but the PS2 is one of the world’s most unreliable games consoles, behind pretty much just the Xbox 360, and the Xbox is extremely reliable.

   Really, the only reason you should get a PS2 is if you want JRPGs on your system, as the Xbox didn’t get any due to Japanese developers not trusting the new brand.

   My PS2 started with the disc read errors last year. I opened it up and put some white lithium grease on the tracks where the laser moves and cleaned the laser. Worked great after that. Had to do the same with my PS3. They both lay flat and not upright so…

11. Man, I'd hate to imagine how long this video would be if you included a lot more of the good games on teh system. The better thing about it is MOST games are still stupid cheap except for colossus and ico last I checked so getting a lot of the games is surprisingly easy, even 2 years after this video was released XD

15. The bouncer, the first episode of the xenosaga series and persona 4.

16. Shadow of Rome is damn near incredible. Stunning graphics, even today.

17. Katamari games are must-play, very unique and fun.

18. forgot to mention the megami tensei series with nocturne and persona 3.
    they pratically put atlus on the map for good.

19. My favourite game on the system by far is Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. It's also available on the Original XBOX.

22. My favorite PS2 game is Kinetica, a launch title. It's a racing game.

23. You eventually get to play with 5 other characters in Odin Sphere and all with different story lines if I'm not mistaken
