1. I remember the year 2000 my parents bought a Panasonic 5 DVD 5.1 dolby digital surround mini hi Fi system which was connected to our 68cm 4:3 ratio LG goldeneye TV from 1998. The first bluray I ever watched was bicentennial man. I was blown away. If this set up was revived and displayed in a store, somehow I think many would find the beautiful crisp warm and rich 576i image more enticing than the cold clinical images found on modern 4k screens. I'm not fooled by OLED because despite its colour accuracy it cannot escape the clinical digital character of the display. Ive decided to experience the early days of bluray instead, using a super fine pitch hd crt and watching blurays at 1080i, the image reminds me of the he old days of DVD only with a respectable improvement.

14. Why are you playing the PS1 with composite? You have a HD CRT with component inputs. Just get an RGB SCART cable for the PS2 and a SCART to Component transcoder. Trust me, RGB is the way to go to get the most out of your PS1.

20. I have the same tv and the model that succeeded it. Both are excellent quality build and reliable, incredibly bright colors and the traditional trinitron vertical scanlines. Personally i love them more than wega flat screens though I'm looking to buy one of those 20" CRT HDTV when they show up at the pawn shops. Meanwhile if your first console was Playstation, Go buy one while you can, They're incredibly cheap (people often gave 'em for free saying they occupy much room than a led/plasma wall mounted tv) and in twenty years you'll regret it horribly if yo don't.. besides who knows maybe becomes a very sought and wanted gaming sort of relic¿? :p

Gex was an awesome game i remember playing it for hours every day for fun , also the original Resident Evil was scary back in 97 and also Silent hill was even scarier lol Gran turismo was amazing graphically at the time and also nightmare creatures was excellent too , so many great PS1 games out there , i will say it now , the PS1 had better games than the PS2 this is why i switched to Xbox in 2002 as Xbox had similarly great games to the PS1 and was superior to PS2

42. Man i felt old when you said "feel like a 5 year old again", as for when the psx hit the shelves i was 16. But nevertheles i still enjoy psx gaming albeit through emulation.
