Majestic music. Beautiful environments. Classical hero journey symbolism with different interesting concepts each time. Exploration. Puzzles. Battles. It's simply a perfect vg series.

34. I grew up with Sonic and I never got why Sonic 2 is everyone's favorite.

    Although It could be solely on Nostalgia as it was many peoples first Sonic game..

    However, I believe Sonic 3 is technically a superior game even without hooking it up to S&K for the full experience. Thank God for the Sonic Classic Collection… that's what should have been mentioned.
