1. I am really sad this wasnt better. What is one game you hyped yourself up for that didnt live up to what you hoped?

3. This game is called valkyria revolution not valkyria chronicles revolution. I'm so sick of people whining about it being different.

4. I remember seeing the limited edition for $40 and being excited.. Then I thought about it and realized something wasn't right..

5. Found 2 on psp a while ago. Need to play it just such a shame Sega wont remaster it for ps4.

7. Terrible execution of a good idea. It's like games are becoming more and more shit.

8. The combat is so incredibly easy that it takes away any sort of challenge. Even if you're being absolutely smashed you can just constantly resurrect your allies which gives both party members a second of invincibility. Compared to the previous three games, this difficulty is just incredibly dull, and makes the already stunted combat feel weaker. I just hope Sega uncharacteristically takes the failure of this title in stride, and listens to the fairly universal criticism of its combat system and bland animations to improve and create a proper entry to the main series.

9. What a waste. This game could have been stunning. A beautiful game with what looks like an interesting story, ruined by empty action based bullshit.

11. What a disappointment for a great idea (having a different type of game in parrallel of the main series) and what could have been an amazing expansion of a series that is, sadly, unknown though excellent.

    Edit: Come on dude, why say "bring Valkyria chronicles 3 to America" ? it was only a Japanese release (and only on the PSP) so i guess WE also would like to be able to play it, You know this other peasants continent called Europe. Thanks for showing your unilateral vision.

15. I got a question regarding the game. Can i just play as one character? Or do i have to switch betweem them because i rather just play as the guy with the bustersword type weapon and go from there.

16. Gotta say, as someone new to your channel. This was a very spotty review. Many many of your points were just theatrical claims, and/or comparisons to its predicessor which is a completely different genre.
    I also believe you have a bias in this review, since it is not the genre you played before. For example, you agonize over the 'waiting times' between attacks, yet bring no mention to the fact that you can command other characters or even guard. Yet you do bring up the point that one must be 'tactical' in order to succeed.
    Dislike from me, as well as a negative review of your channel to any passerby I speak with. Have a good day.

17. The combat reminds me of Parasite Eve, which was good. Gonna give the game a chance regardless of its bad gameplay, because I'm interested in the story and characters. Good thing they didn't try selling it for 60$, they probably knew they fucked up.

    Does it have dual audio as rumored?

27. Thanks for reviewing. This is getting a Vita release as well which I was looking at getting, maybe if it goes on sale cheap it might be worth it.

30. From what I heard, Sega did too much ass kissing with this game to a point where it became a checklist. Seriously you have to have Asperger's to think a hack and slash was the best idea for a Valkyria Chronicles game and be on drugs to incorporate the RPG strategy element in a hack and slash game. Unless it's Dark Souls, hack and slash and RPG strategy makes as much sense as oil and water. We didn't ask for a hack and slash Sega.

36. The original Valkyria Chronicles was an awesome game. It got a re-release or re-master on PS4 fairly recently. I'm not sure what you meant by mentioning that you were pretty sure SEGA did not want us to connect the two games. It was a fantastic game that should have celebrated any connections.

43. I had the game for quite some time already but too many good games had no time for them n valkyria revolution juz lay there somewhere. its so disappointed to hear that it wasn't good. now am playing ysviii but mayb I am too old for this type anime games…
