the only reason i will buy the ps vita is the danganronpa series
A easy way for Sony to make a vita 2 would be to change the memory card to a simple SD card, update the graphic power, and since the switch are going with cartridges they can make it backwards compatible with the same size cartridges they have now. Then they'd have a back log of games and be ready for new content.
It is……just not in the west. Regardless I still enjoy my Vita.
I own all PS consoles expect PSP.
the main thing that killed the Vita's potential was the advent and constant improvement of the smartphone.. i useta mod PSPs.. and everyone that knew about the Vita was lookin forward to it.. but when it finally dropped, the smartphone began to really take shape.. add to the fact that the android firmware kept improving, and games were starting to grow as well as phones began improving, the need for another gaming device in ur pocket was null n void.
I´m so happy, that I was able to get a new PS Vita last week for 99€, after I sold my first one two years ago to my neighbour. :))
It's very unlikely that , that would happen but great topic man
unsuccess=west. and there's still games coming out
I have a ps4, psvita and ps3
I hope Sony makes the Vita V2 and make it cheaper, and the memory cards CHEAPER. I don't even care that it's proprietary as much
I still use my vita for over 3 years now. I actually think it's a good hand held device. I have an iPhone 6s and I never play games on my phone. The only problem with the Vita is the memory card. I have 64 GB and it's full. They don't even sell 128 GB memory card and you can't use other products. There's also too many indie games on PSN store for the Vita.
I feel like talk of the Vita's less than stellar sales and slowly decreasing physical releases overshadows how good it actually is and how great the games are for it. You definitely can stuff a shelf full of games despite what people say.
Buying one this week and I am getting black slim because I dont want it to get dirty, im so excited dont care if this is 5 years old im buying like 15 games on it and 64gb memory card lol
My heart sank when you brought up the ps vita bioshock
i bought my vita at launch thinking it would get an exclusive gta, mgs or gow. but nothing, not even a final fantasy. so dissapointed. i just stopped buying games for it, and dont use it anymore.
well, I mean, it is a success. in japan.
Meanwhile, in an alternate universe…
I've have every PlayStation PS 1 2 3 4 p and vita
i sold my 3ds and bought a vita
in japan the vita is selling more than he 3ds
Asshole. Lol
I want one for remote play but I won't pay that much for memory.
I kinda wish Capcom would be more interested in the Vita. I know that's a super specific company but i've been day dreaming and theory crafting some possible games from them. Like a Dead Rising game or maybe a way better Mercenaries centered Resident evil game than what was on 3DS
eh im thinking different. if vita was successful then sony would balance support for both ps4 and vita meaning there would be a backlash where ps4 and xbox one would be par on par. clearly since vita failed, sony is focusing their attention more on what theyre winning with, the ps4. any spare plans and budget go to the vita as low priority.
If it was a success, it would have gotten a Monster Hunter, God of War, Jak and Daxter, Metal Gear Solid, Souls, Fallout (atleast a tactical top down game like the F1 and 2), Assassin's Creed, GTA, games, and others. Kinda sad that Sony is not pushing the vita to its limits. Now I wonder how everything will go with the Trinity.
Sony just got too greedy.
Does local multiplayer work for Star Wars battlefront 2 on the ps vita?
If Sony will offer a little more support for Vita and some more new games the Vita will make a huge comeback and it will sell again . Sony makes such retarded mistakes that for me as a Sony fan it's unbeliveble ! It's like kids are running the company …
What if the PS Vita Was Actually a Mild Success?
Not actually going to happen. Amen, amen.
They needed to make more advertisements, stop releasing their exclusives to consoles, get more handheld spin offs of games people want like GTA, Dark Souls, Elder Scrolls, Farcry etc, Make better ports, Make cheaper memory cards, Release ALL of their PS1 classics, and for gods sakes tell Nihilistic studios to fuck off.
bujakaša, ček dis aut
I never saw one PS VITA Commercial I mean that sucks, PS VITA Sold more Tacos through Taco Bell than Vitas that's kinda Crap. I love having a Console in my Pocket I wish they would have ported PS2 Games as they are not HD would have been ok
vita is a success!!!
Should I get a vita?
if the PlayStation Vita was successful the market would be amazing we would have the most advanced handheld games ever they would add Morpheus VR to the next handheld LOL
