AND IT IS 400 DOLLARS!!!!!!!!
Ironic- not only is it 400 dollars us but the war has ended with cross console playing
IGN what has been the experience with short sighted users forced to wear glasses to read or use a laptop? Any comments?
Well I'm holding out for the Atari Jaguar VR headset
If VR is sucessful it could change gaming as we know it,The sucess of PSVR Occlus and Vive need to hit a benchmark for it to take the next step,So i dont see why theres VR fights going on in this Chat,There all Equaly important
So all it takes to beat the industry is make a cheaper product. Really? Are sure? Lol the lebel of dumbasses in the comment section.
The rift doesn't work for Xbox lol easy win for ps
Ever notice how most of these geek guys always talk like the world is about to end in 60 seconds?… so they have to talk as fast as possible.
in germany the oculus is like a ak 47 that shoots on your moneypocket bam bam bam 700€
microphones used to be big. As technology improved they became smaller. What happened here? Nice vid by the way.
I would if the headset works with non VR games? I think only being able to see the game would greatly benefit with immersion
So wait, how is PS VR going to work, since there isn't enough horses in PS4?

They speak the truth on the Sony advantages even with 'lesser tech', I think more and more people are feeling this when they see the games line up, the slick HMD, the plug & play, the lower cost, the massive userbase of PS4 = lots of dev support. If we have to forgoe a little res/fov and graphical quality it's not the end of the world at this early VR stage especially to more casual users. They are gonna shift a hell of a lot of units (Vs the Rift which is a strange price to get any meaningful adoption on PC and the gamepad being the included input rather than touch is putting the rift on the back-foot from the start). And that's coming from a DK2 rift owner. On the PC Side I'm far more interested in what Vive is offering, even if it costs a lot more. If you have the cash, the space and a good PC (and a PS4) I think a PSVR and Vive combo would be the best of all worlds until generation 2.
Rigs or Eve: Valkyrie in box for PSVR for 500$ or less (450$ should be the goal here for them). WIN.
sony ruined "599". i mean its not a lot of money considering people buy phones at that price w/o thinking twice. the ps4 were at that price when it debut in my country. but suddenly with gaming tech 599 is a big no no :p
What if the Playstation VR has PC compatibility and they price it under $500? Think it would destroy Oculus. Wouldn't need such a high end PC either.
At$350, count me in for a pre order. Anything higher than that, I'm waiting a while
all talk
For those interested, the PSVR price was apparently leaked by Amazon by accident. $800 guys… suddenly Oculus seems more affordable… xD
The Oculus is for hi end PCs. PSVR is for the PlayStation. There is no war. Sony doesn't have any real competition. If they'd made the OR compatible with the Xbox then it might be a whole other matter. Infact, when VR is finally released and Xbox users suddenly realise that there is no VR for their console, sales of the PS4 are likely to rise even faster, while Xbox sales will take a plunge. To me this is a massive mistake by Microsoft and I'm sure they are going to have a lot of their fans shifting towards PlayStation. Maybe that's why PS4 sales are already so much higher, because people are anticipating the release of VR.
