I have yet to hit an old game I couldn't get to run on Win10.
how about a beige box running Windows 2000?
My favorite way to run older games is using a VMWare virtual machine (can't recommend virtualbox for heavy games), i can run games like Brother in Arms road to hill 30 even at 1080 with little preformance penalty :O
Play the N64 or PS1 version of the game on an emulator en map the controls
I have a same question why
So much nostalgia for a 90's kid in this video
This explains fallout 3
Anyone else got a cold shiver when he said Windows ME?
RGB light in PC are Ricers of PC world
BUT WHY MY 2018 LAPTOP CAN RUN GTA SA??????
because they are racist
<3 me some MechWarrior! I can only hope MW5 stands up to the hype and nostalgia.
I-I
whispers
I think I might only have one core.
Huh downloading an open source car doesn't sound to bad actually now thinking about it.
Hahaha you fools….
I was able to play 2000 upto 1995 games in my computer!
did he just say yesteryear
is there a progam that let you play older games and program
Hmm 🤔 what is a emulator?hmm free roms? 🤔
Only if there was a way to game a game digitally without paying money…. I think I found a non-Steam solution to this problem.
lookin at you bully.
I had to do some task manager magic and keep GTA SA on one CPU core for it to work.
I've never understood the infatuation of spending thousands of dollars on computers to play games and doing it over and over again as technology changes. I get upset because microsoft forces me to upgrade my operating system so often by quitting to support my old operating system leaving me vulnerable to jerk virus writers. I sometime wonder if the virus writers work for microsoft so they can force us to continually upgrade – including our computer because the new operating system won't run on our old computer. I still get faster "game playing" out of my Windows 98 SE computer which I now don't dare hook up to the internet. I have a separate computer for that. I wonder if the American people realize just how they are being used by Microsoft and Intel.
Can i play CoD 4??
I made a gaming PC using Windows 98se and Windows XP 32 and 64 Bit all out of old parts.
Yeah…I was playing Roblox (Phantom Forces) on a new computer and somehow, it's even worse. It's laggy, frame rate is low, and I can't get a kill! I prefer my 7 year old computer.
You can download emulators
Come on just play on a x box. Duh
You failed to mention the core of the problem : FAT [File Allocation Table] Almost all pre-64bits games are based on the old FAT rather then NTFS, making it almost impossible to run on modern systems. Another fact is the amount of system memory and it's properties. In the early days there was only a couple of kilobytes of system memory available for any game/program and that was also the upper limit for memory usage overall, meaning that any game/program could never fit in the memory. Therefor programs were written to specifically use certain amounts of RAM at certain intervals. These techniques became obsolete as new technology evolved and so were any game/program. That said, i must point out there are a lot of emulators for free that will make the most modern pc able to play old games, even from other platforms like SNES, SEGA, COMMODORE etc. These emulators mostly just mimic old operating systems and use minimal system capacity so you can expect some technical diffulties like : an old game that runs way too fast making it unplayable ! [yes, that actually happens but can be solved fortunatly] Happy gaming !
ironic how i was trying to work gta 3 with windows 10…. and what do you know the thumbnail has "Grand Theft Auto: 3" Edit: any help with trying to get it running will be appreciated
i payed 85 dollar for 8 core phone with fingerprints, including taxes, goat bless china.
Ironically, GTA III runs fine on Win 10.
What you want is GTA IV and it's inability to recognize modern graphics cards. shakes fist at no one in particular
