Im a huge Dynasty and Samurai Warriors advocate, there aren't many of us around but it's definitely a personal thing
Uncharted is good because it keeps it simple. It doesn't try to overly impress you with being mindblowing or mindfuck or address every theme that relates to modern day issues; It's just a simple but perfectly executed (sans Drake's Deception) stories with perfectly fine action gameplay, and on top of that it performs like it needs to, and on top of that the setpieces make the game feel dynamic and keeps you hooked.
That's why it's so good, but it's also why it's become less meaningful to others. It doesn't make you think and it doesn't really break the mold on anything. I totally enjoyed them for what they were but I'm not overly nostalgic or excited about them when I think back to them now.
People need to remember that these are just opinions based on their experiences. You can't expect somebody to change their mind if they didn't enjoy a game simply because the majority of people thought otherwise. Playing a game for 20+ hours is definitely enough time to experience a game and determine if the game is fun or if it isn't. There was something in Bloodborne Colin didn't like and he stopped playing. I love the souls games and I definitely believe there are parts in the game that are unfair or require a very steep learning curve. I'm currently in the process of viewing ENB's runthroughs of the From games and even he mentions that the games don't hold your hands in any way. When your creating content everyday, you don't have time to waste hundreds of hours on a single game. TotalBiscuit makes many arguments about this in his podcasts. Don't blame the guy for not sharing your opinion on the game.
Hey guys! Me and my friends have started a podcast and we would love if you could show our page some love at SoundCloud.com/RobotPancake . Any type of support is greatly appreciated 😊.
I'm pretty close to unsubscribing because it's starting to get boring. Colin never says anything, doesn't play much games. Greg is all over the place in his speech. Not concise and goes on and on maybe to cover for silent Colin?
Also, you guys are starting to repeat yourselves. I get it. This video is summarizing all the games for the year so you're bound to say similar things but we've been listening to you all year. So maybe come up with different things to say about the same games.
I don't know what it is. Maybe you are posting too many videos without enough time to come up with substantial material? I would rather you guys go off for two weeks and come back with fresh stuff. Quality over quantity, my friends. I mean this in the best way possible.
Kick & Fennick FFS!!! The best Vita game I've played in 2015
Zesteria is a pretty good game. I do not know why people are hating. It is a bit "more of the same." It has two nations fighting on another and so forth. The dungeons can feel a bit flat, but I like the idea of leveling up the armor and characters find money and make items as you are walking around. What do not like about the game is the story progressive fights that you have to get into. You will have to let an enemy kill your party in order for the story to continue. I like the idea of combining with other characters to create a stronger version of yourself. I do not like the camera angles during battles a lot of the time. I have played about fifteen hours into the game. Rose is an awesome character. This game is better than Tales of Xillia 2. The whole debt thing ruined that game for me. The silent protagonist also did not help. PlayStation has enough worthwhile games to be worth the purchase.
Infamous was fun although, the story and the sidequests were a bit meh at times. I thought Knack was fun for what it was. It is by no means a great game, but it is not as terrible as others make the title out to be. Transistor, Resogun, and Axiom Verge are cool downloadable games. The cel shaded 3D effects in the newest Guilty Gear were awesome. The mechanics are fun as well. Bloodborne is better than the Souls games. Until Dawn has cool gameplay along with a cool story. Tearaway is a unique game, and it does take awhile to complete everything.
The only reason people are complaining is because the big Sony titles like The Last Guardian, Uncharted, and Dreams are not out yet. There are enough exclusives and multiplatform games to satisfy almost anyone on the PS4, but some people do not want to give games like Tearaway or Until Dawn a chance. Yes Tearaway was on Vita, but most people probably did not play that version of the game at all.
As far as next year is concerned, you have Uncharted, Ratchet, Amplitude, Star Ocean 5, Gravity Rush, and Street Fighter 5 coming out early next year. The whole "no games" argument holds no weight.
All hail Trails in the Sky SC and Trails of Cold Steel. <3
Bloodborne!!!!!!! Shovel Knight for PS4!!!!!
You guys bitch about telltale games… but you love until dawn woh…Woh…….
I don't understand why people like bloodbourne its such a bad game one of the worst and more bland games I ever played. Fallout 4 and Witcher are way better than shitbourne
yakuza 5
Hands down bloodborne best ps4 game this year … I wouldn't call it unfair tbh…
Goddamn it, I haven't watched KF in a while, but the moment I come back, I remember how much of a dumbass Tim is.
Guys, can we get a 20 minute pod to talk about why Colin can only play 10-20 hours of ANY game? I have to understand this. I can see every now and then, but other than Until Dawn…what's the last game he finished? I need to know more.
Why is it so hard for Colin to go back and play games? So many times, he'll say he played a game for 20 hours and then didn't have time to go back.
Titan Souls was a good. game. Played in on PC and it was a fun experience. I just wish there was some explanation with the story.
lol at all the people jumping on Colin for not creaming his pants over Dark Souls. it's not that good. it's decent. not notable at all. and yes, the controls do suck.
surprised at how little colin actually games
i had the same reaction to tales of zestiria. but after playing it for 10 + hours and really engaging the story im wholeheartedly enjoying it. the game does feel like a late ps2 game or early ps3 game i think thats why people are off.
What about Hotline Miami 2? It was a pretty damn awesome game, and I assume it sold well too. God, when I think of the challenge, the soundtrack, the haze of a story. I can't wait to see what those guys do next.
The only PlayStation exclusive I want is persona 5 🙁
Rocket league is my game of the year. Play it every day even just for a game or two. Actually noticing myself improving too which is awesome!
Souls fans are so butt hurt
all the comments are just defending souls games
I think the success of PlayStation has to do with the quality of the Xbox one, as a owner of both its clear in almost every way is the ps4 better, from of quickness in the dashboard and how simple it is to find what you needed to find, to even the smaller design, not having a brick for the power, you may say game quality but I never really could tell, its just a much more appealing device
I wanna play bloodborne because everyone says its really good, but Ive never played any of the Souls games because everyone says theyre really hard and Im scared to play Bloodborne for the same reason. Lol.
So wait there are 2 FF7 games? The hd rerelease, and that dumb episodic remade version that will never fully come out?
Why was rocket league ''obvious'' to sell millions of copies? their previous game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is Rocket league with a ton more stuff to do in it and that game reviewed poorly and barely anyone bought it.
