I don't understand why Madden doesn't include CFL teams.
Not even CFL teams.
What is that blocking
Why didn't 2K sports move on to CFL once Madden got the exclusive rights to the NFL?
The players are not stiff. This is how the run in Canada.
some one needs to broker a dealy with madden
No, just NO!
Front page sports football 2000 looked and movedĀ better than this…literally
It looks like this game has great potential, but still requires some work. an example is the blocking, which looks odd and I question how realistic it is. Seems at times when players are being blocked they remain blocked for the whole play, which of course does not reflect reality. Players break blocks or roll off blocks during a play. With that said I have been hoping for a Canadian football game for many years, so thank you for making it happen.
this is why Madden is the undisputed champion
If graphics better player models and menu layout don't improve this will get criticized but I did like the physics for it. madden took at least a few years to make the players get up after a tackle but for this game they do it pretty easily with out falling over each other. However doh they can add a few more animations with some type of customization feature To make it look a bit better maybe by cfl 19 it could make a jump but right now this game is a blueprint for the future
I'm picking up an Xbox one next week. I'm gonna give this a shot. I'd like a little commentary tho
This look like quarterback club
Honestly, the player movements and how the players limbs and torso moves reminds me a lot of NFL2k football. Even in a barebones situation, if this game at least had some ongoing win lose record, that would have been worth it. But without even a W-L record, how is it going to keep the gamer coming back for more. I wish the following animation would be in Axis Football in the future.
@3:20 – 3:27 … nice animations, interactions, footwork. It appears as if the user can feather the sticks. Focus on the QB's footwork as he drops back as well as foot plant within the pocket. Within the same sequence, notice the footplant by the Tight End pushing off his left foot as he makes a cut across the field. Moments later, a fantastic animation plays out where the Tight End gets hit by the defender and the Tight End stumbles, but recovers briefly using his left arm to maintain forward motion, ultimately getting tackle (i.e. semi-consecutive hit tackle).
@4:19 – 4:22 … Footplant once again. Notice how the QB steps into his throw. Notice QB's footplant; user seems to be able to feather the stick resulting in some nice footplant. @4:33 – 4:38 … Fantastic teammate to teammate interaction. QB scrambles into his lineman and moves with purpose—the QB sticks his left arm out to make contact with his offensive lineman, resulting in the QB slowing down, moving back, before proceeding to run through the gap. Look at the QB gather steps as well.
@4:49 to 5:03 … loves the kicker setup animation. Again, another thing that reminds me of NFL2k football.
@5:16 to 5:27 … kickoff animation. Love the animation sequence of the kicker's kickoff setup, acknowledging his own teammates. Love the footwork.
Overall, I like how the players continue to move after the play is over. I like the post play celebrations.
Passing is a lot less uglier than axis lol
Yep.. Madden's rule is over now..
For all you Axis haters claiming this game was the second coming of Jesus, I'll be the first to say "I told you so". Axis is clearly the better game with the higher ceiling in the future as well.
oh no baby what is you doing
Lol this game is asscheeks
I respect the effort, but it seems like I would be going backwards playing this game.
People soon forget how many years we had zero competition on the market for YEARS!
Seeing all of these recent football titles reminds me of NBA Live 14. Will these games be up to standard? Of course not. But I can confidently say, they will have gameplay aspect that are done fairly well. Guy give them some time. These are just the foundational pieces to a bigger puzzle.
Fight me Moody!
Reminds me of the early versions of 2k. Not anywhere as fluid but the players have a weight to them like on 2k.
Competition is on the horizon, folks! It's just a matter of time. I really like the physics at 3:23 how the player keeps his balance after that hit. Looks very promising overall!
Is this a windows phone game?
Why not the yes names in the game?
This shit is pure struggle. Lmao. Lookin like Gameday 98.
Day one. Im here to support
I gotta say it's hard to believe that in this generation of gaming developers can't make something at least a little closer to current gen. I know it's not easy or cheap to make a game, I get it. But it just seems like technology would have progressed enough that small developers could at least make a game that looks like 2k5 on PS2. And I'm not hating on any of the guys trying to make games for us, I really appreciate it
plz the graphics could be way better they move so stiff
kinda remindz me ov Madden on da PSP
it's not bad… for it being a small Canadian based company wanting to make a cfl game we gotta give them a chance… so they can improve in its next game
I'm not even sure I can say this is better than Axis Football League.
I'm willing to show my support at $25 to $30 as long as update an improvement
ooofff this looks like something on Playstation circa 1996 lol
Its crazy how its so hard to make a football game in the 2017.
any chance this will be on mobile
This for PS1?
what is the price?
Hahaha man this game need some work … I'm all for supporting …but if this a 65 dollar game … i can not
