Fantasy Strike is a deceptively simple fighting game from David Sirlin, the lead designer of Super Street Fighter 2: HD Remix. Play as a ninja, dragon, painter or …
Wish we could get a release date. Will be a Day 1 purchase for me.
I'd rather play mk vs dc or Sonic fighters, then this simplified baby's joke of a fighting game.
Wow! So, it's like a tutor.

I absolutely love Fantasy Strike and I usually play Tekken – one of the hardest fighting games to play. I've gotten my partner to play FS and she only used to ever know button mashing in fighting games, and now she's able to to put people into mixups, play footsies, be defensive, and know when it's appropriate to jump. Fantasy Strike does some amazing things and I think it's really a fighting game for everyone, no matter if you're a novice or a veteran. It's also impossible to forget how to play so you can still enjoy the fighting games you already are dedicated to while still being able to play competently in FS at any given time.
BACK IN THE 90'S THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERED WAS HOW FUN THE GAME WAS. NOW ……..ITS ABOUT PUTTING $100,000 INTO GRAPHICS TO MAKE IT LOOK FUN
this was confusing, not much combos, and it has input lags at times
I like Smash Bros, but I can't for the life of me memorize and with pin point accuracy and timing get all the combos right and stuff in more common fighters, so a middleground could be cool
Comparatively speaking, fighting games are kinda niche. There's just a fair amount of us. So when you consider that, the number of people who "want to play more fighting games but just can't get past the 'hurdles' of learning them" is very, very small. This will not help people get into the genre as the people who want to get in the genre already are, and vets will stick around for this about as long as they did for Divekick.
Lame
I feel like this one is for the button mashers…Not the fighting game purists who spend hours on end learning & perfecting combos on SF & Tekken..
If this game works as an effective tutorial for people tog et into the Fighting Game Community then I'll receive it with open arms. People in the niche think it's actually good to be just a niche…
played on pc not bad
Looks really fun
you're clearly admitting this is what a competitive fighting game shouldn't be
Seems like a great gateway title for people who are new to the genre.
A fighting game for lazy bums who can't make time to try and learn more complex fighters, as a casual fighting game player myself even I don't want to see people dumb down their games to this extent to where a literally baby could play, if you want to make it easier that's fine but their should be a limit. Just add more side content to it to make it more enjoyable like Netherealm studios does. The Yomi counter is this game's only interesting mechanic a real test of patience. Other than that this game really doesn't have much going for it.
Really now?
As a fighting game enthusiast, I can't stress enough how important games like these are to the community.
Excellent job on this. I'm excited!
Button mashing I'm in
I rather want a remake from Battle Arena Toshinden 1 & 2.
"One button specials and super moves" and "get right to the essence of fighting games" should not be put together in the same trailer
Walmart version of Street fighter V
Make mortal kombat 9 remastered on ps4 please i beg you
To be it’s a game with straight up stolen animations/elements from the fighting games it claims to be distancing itself from.
Love I So neat Now I know all the fighter mechanic names
I trust in David Sirlin to know how to make a fighting game. I am willing to give this one a shot.
Casual Fighter V: Not at Evo Edition
So figthing game for pussys?
Finally fighting games for the rest of us! No spending 20 hours in the training room to get decent at one character.
If this game helps people get into fighting games I'll be really happy
This is hella beginner friendly.👍
Nice !

That guy in the suit is a literal Slayer ripoff. He even has pilebunker and his 6H
bloody roar please 😎
Yeah no, I'll just stick with the far superior indie fighting game, skullgirls 2nd encore.
You guys know this games by Seth Killian right? I'm not sure about such easy specials, but I'll give it a chance. looks good
Why don't i just play rock paper scissor then?
Accessibility is a joke, cause casuals just move on to another game.
Saturday Night Fisticuff where we come! I'm in!
Take all the execution from a fighting game and it becomes a mobile game.
