Your pretty hot for a presenter π
Play virginia instead. Not with friends but a much cooler type of detective game
Thanks for the honest review.
I canβt play, download the app to the phone and nothing! Have any ideas?
Thank you for the review, I'll watch the gameplay instead of buying it
I agree. I am disappointed so far. it's hard to believe it was created by the making of Until Dawn. I wish you could at least walk around and figure stuff out like in Until Dawn. Hopefully, they get the third game right.
I'm not getting this game just because you can't play it with your controller. I mean what happens when they remove the app in a few years. How will you play the game then?
You are a pretty girl !
The game had a nice story and good graphics but it was like watching a movie. I still find Until Dawn better.
Cannot be tamed, huh? I'd certainly like to try, you Canadian minx!
But apart from that, I don't play story-driven games online. It's a terrible idea and it completely robs you of any sense of achievement when you can't always make your own decisions in a game that's apparently all about making decisions. And at my age (40), I don't have any friends who enjoy playing ideo games, so I'd be forced to play and argue with complete strangers. And that's not fun; it's work.
Good review, though. I enjoyed every word I heard. π
Can this be played with a friend online ?
Great review! I agree! The hidden agendas sucked! Most of them were very shallow and were pretty much "choose this option on the very next choice", this killed the whole discussion among players aspect (and the competitive "who has the hidden agenda" aspect) the creators were going for since there is so little to discuss! My experience with this game was through a competitive mode let's play by the Geek Remix channel and the three women playing often chose randomly when it came to the "who has the hidden agenda?" choice since there was so little to take into consideration because like I said, most of the time a hidden agenda is given, a single choice is made and then it's time to pick who has the hidden agenda! (Btw, it's so annoying how throughout the whole of competitive mode there's a guy who announces when it's time for a hidden agenda and when it's time to choose who has the hidden agenda!)
And the hidden agendas can ruin the game somewhat by promoting the player with the hidden agenda to make choices that lead the game in a luster direction (Geek Remix had a "meh" play through because of this).
This game almost seems like it's supposed to be a launch title with it's length compared to Until Dawn which I was very surprised by. And I'm so annoyed you couldn't romance Marney and Felicity! The game was totally giving out those signals!
Excellent review. Thanks. See you in the next video.
A thorough review of an ultimately disappointing game. What a pity – this one had real promise!
Great job with the review. If that was unscripted, it came off very well.
It sounds like they could have made this really interesting, but fell flat. I'd like some more decent group party games that are easy to play on the phone, and especially something a little different from Jackbox.
Night Trap should have an co-op app!
Lol, I got a Playlink ad before this video.
I see what you did there… sneaking that SNES Classic onto the shelf!
i really wanted to play this game because i loved Until Dawn, and was massively disappointed when i discovered it is required to use a phone or tablet in order to play. I am a simple gamer and just want a simple way to play it: game, console, and controller. This makes me sad that I cant play it. I want to play it for the single player aspect which isnt there. The story looks like it could be fun but alas it seems like a console/mobile game hybrid which isnt something I want or need. I dont care about a points system when it comes to a choice-based game.
Very fair review Pam. Too bad I'm on an anti-social streak otherwise I'd give this game a shot! ^_^
i think we should naked mud wrestle for your copy of rule of rose and my copy of tenchu 1
you perk me up better then coffee hope ur days going well beautiful
Man the premise alone is amazing.
If only I had friends…
Thanks for the video! I enjoy games like "Until Dawn" and "Heavy Rain", and was intrigued by "Hidden Agenda". It's very surprising to hear that the primary player/single player game doesn't use the PS4 controller at all (doubly so considering the touch pad on the controller). I hope that Supermassive Games takes some good feedback and incorporates it into their next game, too.
I've never heard of Hidden Agenda. Too bad it only works with a Cellular phone. I would almost be interested in trying it out despite the Quick Time Events; Wonder why they couldn't implement some ideas like you have. Why do a Tarot card Hidden Agenda thing if the mean or average vote is totally irrelevant?
I enjoyed this review. Keep doing them…this way or the other way. π
Hi Pam, great review, enjoyed it a lot. Lovin how you explained it very easily. On a slightly different note, Are you from Canada π. π π π π
Question: I've been looking forward to this game because if the concept. It sells for $19.99. Would you recommend it if it was on sale for say $9.99?
The review style was good! I could tell in a few places it wasn't heavily scripted, but it didn't take away. Shame the game didn't live up to hopes, almost seems like a less fun Phoenix Wright….
nice review, i might play this game alone π
I can see all the faults you point out, but honestly I did quite enjoy this game. I played with my friends in cooperative and used takeover cards as a point system instead of competitive. We played through it twice in one sitting, and I can say that I will probably do so again to try and see some more of the story. The only really bad thing that is hard deal with is the QTEs. Mostly in the shooting section(s) because the mobile app is so imprecise that it caused us to fail. Overall great review though
Great review π
Hi, Pam. Nice review of a bad game.
Thought the Becky Marnie character looked familiar. I'ts Katie Cassidy daughter of David Cassidy. She also plays Black Canary/Black Siren in the Arrow series. This is not something I would play, but great review as always.
I got Until Dawn when it was free a few months ago but I've been playing L4D2 almost constantly on my PC and I haven't even turned on my PS4 for a while. Hidden Agenda does look good. Probably get it soon.
This was a good review Pam. Definitely looks like the potential of a good game is there but from how you describe it I can see the faults. I would give this one a shot for sure, love the 2 hour game time as well.
Honestly, I couldn't even tell you didn't script this. So for me personally, these types of reviews work well. Excellent review.
