Does this game have a free-roam mode? Like the Lego Starwars? If it does, I am definately getting it! I would love to free roam around as a Pachycephalosaurus.
Okay…I'm just going to be honest here. I really hate how they've done the story for this game. I get that it's Lego and that's fine, but I happen to notice that they don't stay as accurate as possible to the movies.
This is very apparent when Nedry in the first movie is supposed to die in that car. Yet, in this game, he escapes alive and well, though left stranded on the island. That's not all; many characters that were supposed to die somehow miraculously escape Death.
"Oh, but it's a game meant for kids. Showing things like dismembered limbs and such would be too graphic." This would be true, IF IT WASN'T LEGO! Seriously, dismembered LEGO limbs is about as graphic as chicken nuggets. Yeah, it's from an animal, but you still feed it to kids, and you don't see them getting nightmares from them. That fact that these are Lego mini-figures should give them the freedom to do these scenes without any need to censor them.
Plus, they've already done such a thing in the past! I refer to Lego: Star Wars. A good game as they tried to stay as true to the story, yet still throwing in humorous jokes. What happens in the game? Let's see, you see Darth Maul getting sliced in half in the first episode, you sometimes see characters fall to pieces to represent death or explode outright, you see Anakin Skywalker lose his hand to Dooku in the second episode and then get sliced in half by Obi-wan in the third, Dooku gets beheaded my Anakin, you have that one alien in Mos Eisley Cantina get sliced to pieces by Obi-wan, you have Luke lose HIS hand to Vader (oh the irony)…need I continue? And these all happen in the game…a game involving LEGOS! If they could do that there, why not here?!
By keeping them alive, you imply that they were left stranded there without anyway off and without suffering the consequences of their actions, let alone detract the seriousness of these dinosaurs as merciless killers. I mean that one guy got eaten by the T-Rex, I repeat, THE T-REX only to to get spat back out as if nothing ever happened! If this T-Rex is not capable of eating and swallowing even one person, then why have the characters run from it in the first place?! If they wanted to do this, they should have tried to stay as true as possible, even with the actual death, which, in this case, is the equivalent of removing plastic from other plastic.

Ich mag LEGO UNDERCOVER
wish they had the scene where sarah hits the glass
You know, I'd like it if they started making Lego games where the fellow characters could beat enemies without having to do everything yourself. Sure they hit, but do no damage.
Is anyone else having a problem with the lost world section where Dr. Malcom is hanging off the cliff in the bus on 2 player? Every time I play with someone it's never Dr. Malcom hanging off like he's supposed to. He is the one that's trying to save everyone while the bald guy is the one hanging off the cliff. I can't get past this part on the Lego game because the tasks are the bald guys. I also can't switch characters because the game just won't let me.
