They might have fixed it for the GOTY edition, but I had the original Morrowind for the original Xbox, and it was so horribly broken I couldn't play it. Every time I would get a few hours into the game, my save file would become irrecoverably corrupted. After this happened 3 times I gave up, built up my gaming PC and bought Morrowind for PC, than I got into the wide world of Modding…
sony fanboy
"The music of the game seemed to be pretty limited". Oh..gosh..No, NO, I'M DYING.
Morrowind was actually the 5th game I think dont forget about redguard and battlespire in between.
Best game ever

Still the best Elder Scrolls game, and one of the greatest RPGs ever made. This is Bethesda in their prime. After this, they focused on appealing to a broader audience and started simplifying their games.
The series that first got me into rpg's was pokemon. That does count, right?
Watching this I feel for my console brethren. I still play Morrowind on my PC and with mods, it now competes with Skyrim graphically and sound-wise, and has much deeper NPC conversations, and healers, mages and bandits travelling the road, and "scenic" boat rides that take you – in real-time – to your location!
got another sub good video
I think were going to be very close.
Angryvideogamenerd rip off lol
I got the GOTY edition for about $9 on GameStop.com
That top loader in the background though
Hey my name is Derek lol
I enjoyed this video, especially the calm and adult vibe!
most of the more modern releases have simplified so much of the content, and that's not a bad thing but when I first played morrowind I was caught off guard by the amount of skills to chose, and what they all did. But after a few hours I loved it so much more than skyrim.
JRPG for life!
Should do KOTOR, one of the best for the Xbox.
As much as I like Morrowind, it's a lot different than traditional Western RPGs. Baldurs Gate would be closer in my opinion.
Great review, but the skits were unfunny and unnecessary, and the voice work felt a little stilted
This game is 7 bucks on G2A
god you people are so unfunny
I like mostly western RPGs with JRPGs to mix it up a little
ugliest game of all time
nice free music in the intro
Jimmy…Jimmy Neutron?

Speak quickly outlander, I haven't much time.
PC version is 10 times better than this stuttery low resolution mess. Especially with the overhaul mod.
I downloaded mods for Morrowind. They corrupted my disk.
I'm just here to pray to our protector the Nerevarine.
can you review the rest of the series
Wealth beyond measure, Outlander
Man, this brings back memories… I started with a failed kajhit paladÃn, and then i went ahead with a dark elf axe wielding battlemage. Excellent review, by the way!
