+1 for the Broken Sword series, and I love the latest one on Xbox One too!
Point and click adventure games . Broken Sword ! That was my first point and click game
My dream is to be a game developer (I'm 14), and I wish I could make an old school Castle Wolfenstein game (the OLD C64 and Apple 2 games)
You should have mentioned machinarium. Primordia is really good. And sanitarium of course.

Did anyone play the Hook movie point and click game?
King's Quest IV. Text is bext.
Check out "the dig" from Lucas Arts. Just played it last month. Amazing story.
It is a about time we revisit the most Terryfying image of Evil the world has ever seen in a new 2D adventure. Before Murray, the All-Powerfull Demonic Skull and his Demonic Heckfire claims victory over the entire earth..
I think Sam & Max is my favorite point and click series, The Devil's Playhouse is just so good.
I love this episode!!! I wonder what would be your reaction/response if DISH Network were to offer a cable channel regarding your videos as a 24-hour channel on DISH Network? Maybe it could be called MJRN – Metal JesusRocksNetwork. Go #MJRTV!!!!
Ask me about Grim Fandango. Only old school kids will know the reference
mine is beneath a steel sky, no doubt about it
WHAT!!!! no mention of day of the tentacle or sam n max
The Secret of Monkey Island is my favourite adventure game of all time and the 3rd on my list of best games of all time.
I've always been surprised by the lack of love for the Quest for Glory series. I love those games and will still occasionally start one up once in a while (kind of like an annual or semiannual ritual now). They're a unique blend of funny, dark, interesting, inspiring (I used to play them just for the visuals back before I knew how to read), a bit educational (they're all inspired by different cultures and mythologies), and the RPG class system gives them tons of replay value. I also love the remakes and spiritual successors they've inspired (Heroine's Quest, for example).
Some more childhood favorites of mine that often get overlooked are Gobliins 2, Teenagent, and Flight of the Amazon Queen.
The first time i saw him in a previous vlog of metal jesus, i thought his voice is gonna be deep like a thor-ish i kinda way lol
I literally had the same experience with monkey island like wood experienced except my dad was playing it.
metal jesus .. I've been one of your sub's for a while now and love your videos.. I'm confused about something though.. how often do you make videos?? once a week??? I just cant seem to get enough .. I especially like your longer videos .. the longer the better… like anything over 20 minutes is fantastic! hope u had a great thanksgiving brother… I spent mine playing Nox
Hello!
I have released a free game called Super Dude where you parkour through vast open levels while becoming physically stronger as you gain experience points. Unlock new weapons to smash your way through the open environments! You can even customize the color of your character to any wild and/or stylish colors that you wish! You can setup custom keys for the keyboard and a gamepad as well!
Hey MJR!! Do you ever played the Atlantis games? I played Atlantis: The Lost Tales when i was a young kid. Also i love Machinarium!
How do you guys run old school games on modern day PCs? I know Monkey Island and gang have the ScummVM engine, which works well for me, but I had a HELL of a hard time running this obscure old school Sierra game called Stay Tooned! It was only when I managed to emulate Windows 95 via DosBox that I got some of these really old games running.
loom was a good one
uhm what adventure and quest game that there is a one child that becomes a warrior that have to kill and get treasure and he can use sword and wand help me plss thank you it was 2007
day of the tentacle was also a one I remember
Grim Fandango was never "remade" per-say it was more of a remaster… but a remaster done CORRECTLY 🙂
Maniac Mansion is my favorite of all time! Wish they would have talked about it
Back in the day, loved 7th Guest and 11th Hour!!!

Monkey Island 2 Day of the Tentacle Indiana Jones: The Fate of Atlantis The Dig Full Throttle Maniac Mansion (NES port) [the music is killer!] Sam & Max: Hit the Road Loom

Point-and-Click Adventures are some of the greatest games from my childhood. And with english as my second language, I had to lookup words in my dictionary so many times that I can honestly say, I learned english through games.
Other than the Monkey Island series, I would recommend Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle (can play MM1 in the game :D) The Legend Of Kyrandia 2: The Hand Of Fate The Neverhood Discworld 2
