  1. I agree 100% with this review. Playing through this game right now (I'm in the Golden Week or something if I'm not wrong) and yea the dungeon crawling can be boring mostly due to the fact that the enemies provide very less exp (at least thats the case till where I have reached in the game) and the game is pretty restrictive on how you handle your daily activities…
Still a pretty good game, with a cool story, stellar combat and soundtrack. Only the repititive dungeon crawling bogs it down…

  2. Good review, answered a lot of my questions. The only one I have remaining is: Is this worth playing after completing Persona 4? I'm playing P4G right now on my Vita (and very close to the end) and I've been considering getting this one next, but not sure how different it is going to be.

  3. I finished this game early this year and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I had seen an LP of P4 and thought I'd play this one since I had heard great things. Overall I fell in love with the characters more than anything.

  4. It was the terrible dungeon-crawling that killed the game for me, especially after going through core SMT titles. I just couldn't stomach running through more Tartarus floors. It'd probably be better that they had stuck only to the visual novel formula or that they take the time to improve the dungeon-crawling.

Persona Q is coming out next week, and it seems to combine the awesome gameplay of Etrian Odyssey with the… stylish style of Persona. May be the best of both worlds.
