this game was also great in its seamless transition is music from the open areas to caves and underwater
Remake every n64 game the egzact same but with super realistic graphics I'd buy 200$ A game.
Cerebral Bore, gonna be the name of my death metal band…called it! I CALLED IT!
Holy fuck this looks unbelievable for what it is
We used our imagination more back them while playing games (by necessity) than now
To make the platforming easy-peasy, turn the in-game map on. Aside from a few areas late-game, every platform will appear on your map overlay making it basically foolproof to line up and nail every jump.
$20 is quite good considering it was over $100 at release.
and it's just 'Dinosaur Hunter', by the way, not 'The Dinosaur Hunter'.
Anti Alli- Eyesing?
I really enjoy this game Just played it thru on my Switch docked Lvl 5 & Lvl 6 are classics One is claustrophobic, the other puckers your butt with heights Both are tense Looking forward to Seeds of Evil on Switch
Just got this on steam glad to know it's good
This is the first FPS I ever played and I loved it and still own it…but I can never figure out where the hell Im going 😑
My friend had this back in the day for N64
The music is good, the rest is not very much.
Downloaded it for the Nintendo switch thinking it was an old shitty game ported for no reason, I was super wrong, been playing it more than any other game I have.
Just beat this game today. Took me 22 years but it was worth it. Great game.
It's crazy that he said that this game is not that much difference from the original. I guess he is not playing in 4k. And for your information you can extend the visual to eliminate the fog.
Can the pink visual effect be turned off?
PLEASE LINK GAME
I sincerely hope they bring Turok 3 and Evolution. Evolution is one of my all-time favorite classic FPS games
Just bought this and Seeds of Evil remastered on Steam for ten bucks. Time to relive my childhood. Only this time I'll be playing instead of being forced to just watch my cousin kick dinosaur ass.
I played this game a million times. I could probably pick it up and go straight though and pick up every chronosceptor piece. It was the game that got me into gaming. The soundtrack is awesome. My dad used to love watching me play it too. All time greatest s.
I swore i got this for ps2
I'm just gonna say fallout new vegas ultimate edition is 20 bucks
Still the best FPS minigun ever, period.
Great Review, love this game.
"…an enjoyable little shooter" But after beating it I'm not sure I'd consider it a "little" game. Some of those levels were downright labyrinthy!
" The finest 3D corridor game ever to grace a console… " Die Hard Gamefan Magazine. Vol.05 Issue 03. March 1997. /Turok review
Using the term 'remastered' extremely loosely.
It's pretty much the same thing you can do with the original version and just tweaking your video drivers.
I play it on my PS2
I am honestly so upset. I just found out that the first two are actually on Steam…I can not believe my eyes. But why! Why is the first one for Mac and not Seeds of Evil!! Can someone please tell me this will change? It seems erroneous for the second one to not be for Mac where the first one is!
IN THE EIGHTH DAY GOD CREATED TUROK
Where is Turok evolution on pc
i wonder if i could actualy enjoy this on pc i tried so many times to play this on N64 and im sorry but the N64 does not have a controler desighned at all for FPS i couldnt get into turok or perfect dark because of the controls
Turok is pretty hard to get a hand on the 64. But you can master it in time.
Played this game on the N64 along with the sequel Seeds of Evil back in the day. Someone here said that they wished the game be released for PC and im so glad the game has been remastered and released for PC. Got both games through Steam when they went at a discounted rate. Great review!
4:51 WHEEEEEE!! XD I've forgotten how hilarious the ragdoll effects for this game were
I finished the game tonight, the HD remaster, my only major complaint is that for a game that was originally titled "Turok dinosaur hunter" there aren't a lot of dinos in the game. There are only 3 dinosaurs featured in this game, raptors, triceratops, and T-Rex, and the T-Rex is only a boss you fight at the end, and the triceratops enemies only show up in the last 2 levels. There's dimetrodon too, but they aren't dinosaurs. I'm not saying the dino enemies aren't uncommon, they are fairly common, but I would've liked to have seen more variation instead of just a bunch of raptors for a bunch of levels. I don't quite feel like it earns the name "dinosaur hunter"
The fact that the T-Rex boss isn't even the final boss doesn't help either.
God such childhood memories! Each sound the enemy, guns and Turok makes i remember.
I miss this game so bad wee need this on the switch just because Xbox x and the ps pro have all the good shoutings games I think the switch need this
So the minigun expends 4 ammo per shot, but the quad missile launcher expends only 1 ammo per swarm? Seems rather backwards.
A LOT of small minor things were cut from the original game in the Xbox remake which kinda saddens me… not sure about the PC version
This game really did usher in a new generation of FPS, let's be honest here. So many memories of playing this.
