I was psyched for it but botters…p2w guns…glitches
Make A.P.B great again 🙂
Big 10 minute video for that sweet ad revenue that told me what happened instead of why. You literally specified no reason for Realtime Worlds' failure. Just that they did. Just when you're about to at 8:48, you instead say "unfortunately, the situation didn't work out very well, and the studio ended up closing on the 16th of september, 2010, just a few months after the launch of APB." That tells me nothing about the why. What didn't work out? Why couldn't they fix it? Thanks for putting a wikipedia article on youtube and monetizing it. This is why you have so many downvotes, dude.
For you to say it will come to a close. I find that debatable cause this game will refuse to die, and it is.
Apb is the mafia city we deserve
I worked for RTW in their Boulder, CO office on their NOC team and I agree with most of what was said in this video but it was a lot more than just bugs that were the problem the customization was a great feature but that was it really the rest of the game was pressing F, the story was lack luster to say the least and yes their business model was just stupid to the core!!!
Didn’t even know what it was 😂
Becareful… with a username like that you’ll get banned 😂😂
I remember reading about this game in GamePro magazine. GamePro has been dead for 8 years now, yet this game is still alive.
I still play this game today. It’s a great game with potential. Little orbit which has taken over has done a lot on the game already and they are really open about the game and they like to speak about progress. They just posted a topic about unreal 3.5 and on how it’s going.
I believe that demanding a subscription plan from people to simply play your game can come out as a two-edge blade. When you sell something that's already out there for a lower price or even for free, you have to make sure people will find something very, very attractive out of it. If you plan on selling water when there's a river nearby, you have to make (or at least say it does) it somehow special, and that's the main difference between F2P and P2P games. People who play WoW for example don't really mind paying the subscription fee because they know that the game will provide an awesome and epic experience. And if a game is F2P, but it has in game purchaseable stuff (such as characters skins), at least you'll have the advantage of telling that these contents are not obligated in order to actually play the game.
Sure as hell sucked at the game looking at anime tiddies.
I tried it out in its Reloaded release and wasn't really a fan. Performance was terrible, despite my PC being freshly built around then, and getting started was a pure headache as there wasn't much in the way of direction for new players.
I do want to add a bit of MMO history to this, though. The payment model they were looking at, wherein players would pay for an allotment of time, was actually where MMO games began. Games like Meridian59 used that model as the future of the industry was completely unknown. It really just strikes me as a desperate strategy after the rise of MMOs; as if the developers don't have enough faith in their product to issue a blanket price that can keep the doors open.
Lmao all they want is $$$ cashs $$$
I had fun with it, but it got repetitive very very fast.
Will you do more good or no?i
This game is still playing
The game is complete UTTER SHIT.
The original level 100 boss
Said im the next big thang bitch stfu
😂😂😂😂😂 100 million dollars fucking idiots
It failed because the game looked stupid, outdated and generic. nobody buys those games, its just another mediocre steam game
EA and their insane fee model are exactly what killed it haha.
Having a system that makes you pay for playing longer, makes people want to conserve their time or not use it at all if it costs them extra money. Which in turn lessens player base, lessens sales, lessens amount of people paying for dlc etc.
Its mostly a role play game most people go to social and trash talk and troll people
Long story short: EA hopped in.
The game is back again, they brought anticheat with them, I'm still enjoying it, now i enjoy it even more because of their work on the anticheat, i just dream of them getting back the good old events, me getting a good pc to actually run the game on 60 fps
On PS4, is there a subscription? I know that like a year or two ago there wasn’t. Are hackers or whatever bad on it too?
The maker of the first gta made APB
So apb is pretty much everything online but everything is null sec
Moral of the story don’t spend to much money if you don’t know what your doing
I used to play APB Reloaded and it took me like 7 hours just to buy a hoodie 😂
Trash game
ch EA ters
