Does anyone know why they changed Kate's house?
If you watch older playthroughs of this game, say… from Markiplier, Kate's house looks relatively nice. The lights are on, the counters look modern, and everything looks clean albeit some pillows and furniture strewn about.
In the console versions, the house is dark, the counters look wooden, things look grimier… and it doesn't fit the context of the situation. Kate is trying to sell the house, so shouldn't it look up to date, like in the version Markiplier showcased?
I've looked for answers as to why they changed the house but couldn't find anything.
