1. DS port is the completed version

2. im playing this for the first time and i fell in love with it

4. although i do still love this game and even still have the snes cartridge with dust cover and custom snes case, i really wish more people would actually play and finish Xenogears for the ps1 as I feel that game has the best story I have ever seen in my past 25 years of gaming but its normally overlooked and forgotten about because it doesn't really appeal to everyone in the same way games like CT, FF6 anf FF7 do so it'll never be remade and never get a sequel as its truly a product of it's time.

5. Just walked in a GameStop and they were selling Chrono Trigger DS for $35 without a case. They wouldn't price match with Amazon, where its sold for $24, so I just bought mine on there and saved $11

6. hand on heart I truly hated the shift from 2d gaming into 3d. Most games lost a lot of character and charm when they made the transition.

11. I just purchased a ds so I can have chrono trigger how to get on handheld is a dream come true if only I could go back in time and give this to my 12 year old self I believe I'd have a coronary

17. what are the 2 games you liked more than chrono? I personally liked Zelda Link to the past more, and Super Mario All Stars more.

19. I had a feeling you'd point out the load times in the PS1 port, and I'm gonna be the odd ball here and say it never bothered me at all. The PS1 port is easily my favorite, as it has the original translation (Frog's old english accent), and the animated cutscenes, which where what sold me on the game in the first place.

    Nice review though 🙂

20. Really, you find Chrono the most boring? He is the character who sold me on the game :O
