3. one thing about i hate about Jrpgs, in fact the only thing its forcing you to buy consoles devices tsk. I know some you will say 'be a gentleman and buy a ps4. Grow up dude buy a ps4 and shit' But i spent nearly a thousand dollars for an adequate pc so that i can run most recent and up to date games. like dragon quest, final final fanstasy Zero and 15, Witcher 3, dragon age 3 so many more. Damn give us pc versions man the Pc players are gamers too. i stil have to pay the mortgage , the bills, my Food, MY very survival. 🙁

9. I'm glad to hear FF7 has lost the turn based combat system. But it being episodic puts me off it completely. I wouldn't consider touching this until the whole series is complete, at which point I would maybe consider buying all episodes together as part of a bundle.

    although one technical thing, Kingdom Hearts has no spinoffs, all the games released after KH 2 are part of the main story and each one is important for the understanding on the whole plot 🙂
    personally i'm excited about FFVII remake, KH3 and Dragon Quest XI 😀

    all the others on this list are scheduled for mid to late 2017

    anywho im all in for 3 of those: Neir Automata, Persona 5, and Nioh

17. Gravity Rush 2, Ni No Kuni 2, Dragon Quest XI and Persona 5 are the only must anticipate game. Others like Final Fantasy have worn its welcome for traditional gameplay and now caters to casual dudebro audiences.

    We also have some B-tier series upcoming like Ys VIII and Tales of Berseria. Trails of Cold Steel III might be coming soon too.

    As for JRPGs in brand only, Nier: Automata and Nioh looks promising.

22. All the game that i wanna play is only at PS4 like FF15 FF7 remake, since i dont have a PS4 i cant play them 🙁

23. People tend to forget Square Enix has been making horrendously bad Final Fantasies after FFX. But sure, FF7 and FF15 will bring back the exploration and fun lol.

24. I played persona 4 golden this year, and fell in love with the series.
    I couldn't imagine waiting eight years for p5.. I finished 4 last month and the wait is killing me

27. Nioh and Nier are not RPG's and definitely not JRPG's. They're Action/Adventure and Hack & Slash. If those games are RPG's then so are Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta. Same thing with Kingdom Hearts.

39. Half of these games are not even jrpg. If an action-RPG game is from Japan, it doesn't automatically become JRPG..
